The downtime had lasted all of two days. He’d been relaxing on the beach this morning, letting the early rays of the sun soak his skin. Then he’d gotten up to reach for the sunscreen before the light got any more intense, and he’d found himself on the wrong end of a gun.

A gun held by the Winter. Fucking. Soldier.

2: Surprise: Cruiser Spooning (rated E)

Bucky looks at the car, and the dent from his metal hand, and starts laughing too. How can they not, really? They’re the Avengers, for fucks sake. They’re supposed to be professional, and helpful, and Bucky just fucked his boyfriend hard enough to set off a goddamn car alarm. On a police car. In the middle of a mission.

3: Vacation: Fury’s Sleep-away Camp for Spies (rated E)

It’s not much to look at. Just a little cluster of log cabins tucked away on the edge of the water somewhere in Washington, almost on top of the Canadian border. There’s a shed with a boat, and a couple Jet-Skis, and some fishing gear. It’s far enough from civilization to feel disconnected, but close enough that driving into town for supplies is feasible.

Officially, it’s SHIELD Outpost 17B.

Unofficially, they all call it Fury’s Sleep-away Camp for Spies.

4: Coffee: Sixteen Months (rated E)

There is a reason James doesn’t allow his dates to spend the night.

7: Aw, ___, No: Aw, Packing, No (rated G)

“I know.” He walks over. “You know what this means, though.”

“Sex on the beach?”

“No. Well, maybe.” Bucky takes the envelope from him. “But first, we have to pack. With actual suitcases.”

Predictably, Clint’s face falls at those words. “Aw, packing, no.”

9: Gift/Present: Dial 1-800-HAWKEYE (rated E)

Clint is taken captive while on a mission, and his comms are off. Luckily, Bucky has a way of communicating with him.

Birthday Event Master Posts

This year’s mini event is now CLOSED.

Thank you to everyone that participated! We are so excited to have been able to see your amazing stories, artworks, mood boards, and other collections.

All works submitted to the blog have been posted at this time, excluding Master Posts.

Although may of you have already submitted Master Posts for this event, we wanted to post information here for anyone who needed a refresher or hadn’t been with us for previous events.

You may submit a master post for any work submitted for the Birthday Bash Bingo, or for Amnesty. This can include works you might have forgotten to submit to this blog (it happens to all of us sometimes), so if you posted a work before the deadline and maybe it never got from AO3 or another posting site to tumblr, now is the time to make sure it’s in your master post and up for all to see.

Master posts are due Next Monday, 31st August at 11:59pm your time. We’ve gotten several already, but for those of you that are still working, please include the following.

1) An image of your card. If you would like to include the squares you completed, that would be helpful, but it isn’t necessary. If you need a picture of your card, please contact us here or via the awbingono email. Some people have had difficulty with or lost the pictures of their cards; let us know. (We’re here to support you!)
