Gun violence in America

This is something you typically see on the news, feel a moment of sympathy for the individual and their families, and then you carry-on about your life. This week I lost a friend to senseless gun violence. All the horrific news stories of the past became a reality for thousands of people that knew and loved him including myself. Everything happened so quickly. There wasn’t any room for good-byes and I love yous. Life will be different going forward. I never want to feel like this again. THIS HAS TO STOP!

I just want to remind everyone that life is short. You really need to take all the “risks” you can. Visit your parents and grandparents. Go back to school. Quit your job. Grab a drink with friends.
