Orphan Black ghost fic?

I have a vague memory of an Orphan Black fanfic where the ghost of Delphine is haunting Cosima and they can communicate through knocking or something but Delphine’s ghost can’t actually speak. Searched around but can’t figure out what it was called. Does anybody remember this?

Okay but why are some people saying Irina is coming back for the finale? Where is that spoiler located?

I think people are assuming Irina will be the killer because there aren't a lot of other options for who could kill V and it seems pretty clear from the blurry set photos going around that something is going to happen to her. We took out the visible baddies at the end of episode 6 (Helene, Lars) and no other heads of the hydra have been revealed. If they were going to bring in yet another new character to be the hitman, I believe they would have done it before the final episode.

Options for Villanelle’s killer / attacker:

Gunn seems likely to die in the early minutes of ep 8 due to the cliffhanger they left off in. Probably V will spring out of the bushes with a rock. A parallel of the “Surprise!” in Helene’s death, since other aspects of that scene (getting dragged backward by the foot, uselessly clutching at the bedspread/straw, screaming, being flipped and straddled by the killer, hand in her face) are clear parallels.

Pam will be busy delivering Konstantin's final note to Carolyn. She and V seemed on good terms, although I suppose she could be given another postcard? I don’t think there’s time for that, though, since we don’t even know who Pam’s new boss is.

Carolyn??? I suppose if K’s final note revealed that Villanelle had something to do with Kenny’s death.

Eve??? I don’t see this happening at all, given the way she just went feral on Helene at the idea V was in harm’s way

Herself??? Suicide is always a possibility, but I never got a suicidal vibe from her. Eve on the other hand.... maybe suicide vibe.

Irina is now working for the 12 and has voiced a strong personal dislike for V. Plus Irina being coy about where she is at the time of her phone call invites the viewer to speculate for themselves. Putting that question in our minds seems an intentional choice by the writers, and I’d be surprised if it wasn’t one that gets answered in the next episode.

Of these Irina seems most likely to me, but I would also like if it ended up being Carolyn.

I think they’re both going to die, and I think Eve will probably be a suicide. Not sure on Villanelle.

Cupid and Psyche. In the mythological story, Psyche has to enter the underworld to complete one of the tasks given to her by Venus. She climbs a tall tower and prepares to jump off, killing herself, before the tower reveals instructions for an alternative way into the underworld. After completing this final trial, Cupid convinces Zeus to give Psyche ambrosia, making her immortal, so they can be united as equals.

The fish tank is a visual reference of the 1996 Romeo + Juliet movie.

Villanelle / Jesus connection. You could read a lot of things into this, but at a basic level.... he dead.

Of these, I think the bridge discussion stands out because it shows she was thinking about suicide already back in season 3. Villanelle is all she has left, and if Villanelle is dying or killed then what’s there left to live for?

I fully expect to be emotionally devastated by this. There’s a lot of ways they could play it, depending on how much they want us to cry.

Everybody noticed the dirty fingernails, but let’s not forget this is the poop hand she’s rubbing all over Villanelle’s face.

If you don’t have a goodbye letter prepared just in case of your death, is it even really love?

Now that they’ve brought back Irina and highlighted both her employment by the twelve and her personal grudge toward Villanelle, it seems inevitable she’s going to be taking a shot at Villanelle in the finale. It’s a small tragedy among many other tragedies that Irina is now going to be working for the organization that killed her father.

I can easily see Villanelle being mortally wounded by Irina and Eve deciding to join her in death. Maybe it’ll be a throwback to the moment in Season 1 where Villanelle and Eve knowingly meet for the first time. The moment when Villanelle holds the gun to her chin in a mock suicide gesture and Eve screams “No!!” But this time Eve will do it anyway, because what’s more romantic to our murder wives than dying in each others arms?

I would almost bet money on this, especially because of all the other Season 1 callbacks we got in 4x07 (Eve with the shopping bags looking like V, karaoke flashback, etc). How can Eve survive without Villanelle? We saw in Episode 7 that Eve is devastated by what her life has become and Villanelle is all she has left, if she even has that. There are no true happy endings left for Eve, although I expect some soft moments before the end.

It would kind of be perfect, and terrible. I’m going to cry buckets. They weren’t fucking around when they said the real meaning of passion is to suffer.

I watched a bootleg stream of ep 7 and I’m not filled with rage?? It’s not at all what I hoped for, but it could be worse.

I think the screeners who said 7&8 should be watched together were right, it really seems like we stopped mid-scene at the end of ep 7 and I find that somewhat frustrating. Also, no episode 8 preview :(

I would not have believed if you told me how much latent gay power there was in Jodie’s hair. Season 4 is the season of hair-in-the-face and I’m weak.

The number of people I see wishing Eve and V had banged right there with Helene’s body has me worried for the mental health of this fandom.

I think I might’ve preferred it if Eve stabbed Helene instead of that awkward knife-throwing assist we got, or maybe if V kept hold of the knife the whole time that also would’ve been good. I feel like the awkward knife-fumble undermines the development Eve has had into someone who is legitimately dangerous in her own right (physical training earlier in the season, shooting Konstantine, murdering Lars shortly after, etc). I guess the point is some kind of metaphor about how Eve is on V’s side, even if she sometimes hurts her on accident?

Also, I know Helene’s final dialog was secondary to the Villanelle-Eve staredown going on, but I feel like homegirl could’ve put up a little more fight. She’s got a child to live for, a child she was ready to kill for last season, and here she is practically offering herself up willingly with her “make it glorious” comment. She should’ve been screaming for help until the last.
