my ode to a friend max mask !

STEP-BY-STEP TUTORIAL / HOW I MADE IT UNDER THE CUT vvv

some people wanted to know how i made my max so heres a little step by step of how i did it!! ^_^

STEP 1: get a nice piece of cardboard and draw the mask's elements

(make sure that the eye is on the incorrect side so when you wear the mask its on the correct side)

STEP 2: cut out the mask's shape along with the eye and mouth

STEP 3: cut out a little nugget

(you'll past this on the mask later, but not now)

STEP 4: get your materials for papier-mache (basically cover the mask and little nugget in wet glue covered paper)

make sure to fold the mask to fit your face before this step so you can wear it comfortably later

it should look kinda like this after you papier-mache it put two heavy objects on both sides of the mask so it dries in the correct shape/angle

STEP 5: let it dry for 1-2 days in direct sunlight

it should look kinda like this when its done drying

STEP 6: paint the mask and the little nugget

STEP 7: paste a piece of paper at the back of the mouth hole so it looks like teeth

STEP 8: get a garter, paint it black, and then paste it on the back of the mask

make sure it fits your head and is comfortable to wear while still not letting the mask fall off ur face

STEP 9: on the front side of the mask, put all the details (the little nugget, the duct tape, the break line, and the masking tape)

and now the mask is done!! enjoy maxxing your design pro :]

It’s really sad to me that every time leo gets to indulge himself or be selfish, he’s immediately punished to the nth degree or he has to use the indulgence to make sure everyone has a better time than him. like yeah sure he finds and repairs a cool dragon in the woods. whoopsie the dragon’s broken now and you have to use your woods hideout to build a big ship to save the world. finally meet a cool girl who seems to be into you, whoops she’s actually dating and hates you because you maybe sorta implied her brother might be used as bait for your crew oh and also don’t forget you got possessed and now no one trusts you. make a bunch of cool things that either break, don’t get appreciated or have to be traded away because god knows you don’t deserve nice things. your magnus opus breaks and no one bothers to recover the wreckage or throw you a funeral. finally get a girlfriend and she verbally abuses you while also leaving you at the soonest possible moment because she actually hates your guts and that didn’t really change in the months yall spent together.
