I’m watching TNG and I’m on this episode where Picard is visiting a resort that’s basically a brothel (Riker’s idea of course) and he’s getting pissed off because women keep soliciting him and it’s interrupting his reading.
If I wasn’t convinced before that my captain is ace I am now.
Been rewatching TNG lately and I can't believe how incredibly ace Jean-Luc is, that man is ace. Riker will make some comment insinuating about sex and the look on Picards face will be one of pure exacerbation or Lwaxana or Q will make a pass at him and he'll look physically pained. He's also definitely very aro-spec, maybe grayro or demiro. Like he's just so incredibly aspec and I love this for him.
Personally love the Idea that most of star trek is reconstructed from personal logs. Because it plugs all the plot holes and explains a bunch of stuff like "why does the ferengi characterisation vary so wildly?" Humans are bigots

Garak thought Bashir had been sent to Honeypot him. That's why he immediately started flirting. He was going to play along and try to get more information on the federation along the way, but he quickly realized that that was not the federation's intention but at that point he was invested so he just kept flirting
