He finds happiness, a version of himself kills his lover, he hunts down that version of himself with a driving force that runs him into the ground. Those around him begin to resent him, and blame him after his tunnel vision leads to destruction around him. He ends up back where he started. With no way out than to numb the pain.

i finished playing disco elysium a couple of weeks ago - i thought i would liveblog my experience on tumblr but i got sooooooo into it that it simply slipped my mind

working on an animatic of them, so these were my attempts to figure out how to draw them in a simplified form so please ignore that kim and harry look wildly different in every doodle

i truly am obsessed with thinking of a dynamic of Kim, post transfer, becoming very close friends with Harry to the point that he knows that Harry has a crush on him, and is just waiting for Harry to bring it up so he can gently and professionally turn him down

only for Harry to talk to him outside of work one day like "yeah so I'm def bisexual and I wanna explore that, do you - "

and Kim is preparing for a long night of comforting harry and assuring that they can still be friends and it's better that they can stay platonic, just for Harry to finish with something like "do you think you can come with me to this bar, mostly for moral support but to maybe also be a wingman?? maybe?"

and Kim is silent for half a second because internally he's going "alright so I'm absolutely in love with him and he wants to fuck other men and I have to be so cool and so normal about that Right Now or else it all goes up in flames."

Alastor intentionally rejecting Vox in order to spur Vox to become the strongest sinner so Alastor can break his contract only for Vox to get attached to Valentino and Velvette and bring them up with him is sooooo compelling…..

Alastor thought Vox would isolate himself after the trauma of Alastor’s rejection (protecting his pride, wanting to prove Alastor wrong), but he failed to consider that Vox is so, deeply, deeply, lonely

and it’s Valentino who sees this vulnerability loneliness and takes advantage of it (though maybe they’re both lonely, in the end, and they both needed someone to sink their claws into, someone who would stay despite the wounds they inflict)

And Valentino picks up Velvette like 20 years into their codependent not-relationship and Vox is kinda locked in to this Val thing now, so he just goes with it, until he actually starts really really liking Velvette bc she’s sick as hell

holy MOLY THIS GOT SO FREAKING LONG BRO im lowkey delirious but im gonna put the rest of the caption under a read more because it'll probably get extremely long as well

this started when i reblogged that one post and put the idea of twilight getting jealous of franky's other friends in the tags. then it got in my head and i was like, twilight is a friendless loser lowkey it would make a funny comic. so when i started this comic i intended it to be short like usual, and mostly silly in tone (you can kind of tell even by the way i draw the panels, if it's something goofy i'll hand draw the panels so they look a little messy, but if it's more serious i use a tool to make the lines neat and straight. the panels are mixed throughout this monstrosity which drives me a little crazy but i digress (digressing seems to be all im doing)). however the more i drew it the more i thought, Damn. it's not that he doesn't have friends, it's that he's actively like self-sabotaging because he thinks it'll go against his life mission of being a spy, which took #1 precedence after all of his friends and family died. but obviously he's never honest with franky about their friendship (even though IRONICALLY franky is the person he's most honest with otherwise), but he's been slowly opening up to yor, so i had to draw a whole sequence where yor and him had a conversation. and then obviously yor is a GORGEOUS QUEEN ALWAYS so i had to up the quality of those panels, but by the end you can tell i was so done because they're pretty rushed drawings. the ending in general is a little rough imo but i'll need to reread this comic in one go to get a feel for the flow, which i def wont be doing anytime soon because IM SICK OF LOOKING AT IT. this is the most amount of time i spent drawing a single comic and it revealed to me why i NEVER DO IT!! every time i went to add another drawing it warranted looking through every other page in succession. I have seen all 23 pages of this mf like 20 times each. IM DONE. MY NECK NEEDS REST! AND I SACRIFICED SLEEP FOR THIS TOO! GAHHHHHHH
