I can't even lie- you're correct. I feel like romance with GHB is only Lana coded though because a relationship with him would look and feel superficial from the outside looking in. Superficial would also be the relationship seen at its best. You also have to remind yourself that even before you he's lived hundreds if not thousands of your own lifetime, and may still live many more hundreds or thousands after your lifetime. To him the understanding of time is both there and lacking- he knows how it passes when he is with someone who won't live as long as him and it ACHES, but there isn't a way he could extend your lifespan without putting you into a strangled position of servitude to HER. The exact same one he is in. He also wouldn't be allowed to ask for that unless she saw a use to you. A use bigger than keeping her "Guard Beast" happy. He'd rather you also not have to grasp the consequences of immortality, as for him it was a long mental battle- knowing that whatever he touches will one day wither away from him to a place he can't reach. These things are not easy for the heart or mind to understand or accept. That and if ever SHE were to die both of you would crumble in on yourselves almost instantly- along with her own hell-ship due to the psiionic being its primary power grid. To him there is literally no win, it's only a clock that ticks away at itself and he will never know how much time he has left. Love doesn't come easy for a man whos only labels are "Guard Beast" "Murderous Slum" and "Maniacal Bastard." He understands his position in the world and can only do so much to protect what little he is allowed to have. A rock and a hard place is a more simplified saying of this problem, but that saying doesn't even begin to describe the despair he feels. That you are only in control of very little and must kill or make happy someone who you wish you hadn't ever met. This doesn't mean he wouldn't value your time. He would simply use it wisely and hope that the version of himself that he gives you is one that protects you, softens you and makes you feel like you've done all you needed to in the world. He would want you to live your life without regrets and leave life knowing you did well. If ever the two of you had a child he would have to ship you off to a far away outlying colony with family who would protect you from HER but in the end it would be the best option he could think of. He would love you no matter what, do whatever he could and more if ever the opportunity arose. You'd need to remember that you aren't the only one he cares about, that his family counts in his life in equal parts. Whatever is laying outside of who he is, he knows inside all he has ever wanted was to be good and care for who he loves. It was the world that chained him before he knew he was trapped.

I know this is from YEARS back btw but I'm trying to come back and give some clowntent to all of y'all here. I also just kind of miss this era of myself.

Hey, I'm alive, but this blog isn't coming back until things change.

Hi, it's been a bit over a year since the last update.

"So... What happened?"

"The big bad C-virus."

You know it, and you hate it. If you don't believe in it then you're a bigger clown than I am lil motherfucker.

Due to the cursed C-virus that bloomed late 2019, early 2020, I was placed in a bad spot. I knew this blog was a comfort blog for many of you, including myself, and what was coming up with the Trickster-Pop Comic, wasn't anything pretty. It was cullifying.

So, have I drawn it? No. I have not. It's "only 12 pages" long, I have the script done, and some of the pages sketched out, but that's about it. Why? Look up at the red text.

There's also these following facts:

My laptop died 2020, making me lose everything that wasn't copied to my outer drive in time.

I switched my drawing tablets after the laptop death and am still learning the new one on my new PC.

Fureur Makara was/is my "deep depression" coping character. He has been so since late 2014. Early 2020, I was feeling better before it happened and didn't have the need to draw him daily, it helping me let go of him and focus on other things.

Due to C-virus, my own support network dissipated COMPLETELY, so I had to keep holding onto what made me happy at that time. Drawing Fureur would've meant I was in that deep state of depression, which would've been life threatening to me, and at times when things got harder, it was.

"Will the comic ever come out?"

Yes, it might if I haven't lost it, but not until C-virus is most likely gone or the world is in better shape in general, I don't want to risk anyone getting more upset due to the Trickster-Pop Comic than they already are from the world happenings.

"Will the ask blog be open again?"

Only after the comic is done. If it never will, then the blog will most likely die here.

Never the less, I thank you all for these years, I wish you all are doing well and taking care of yourselves out there. I'm trying to do the same here myself. - Creator DCL

I've always loved this blog but I complete understand! I'm sad to hear you got the MaCARONi(a) virus, I'm also mad at people who don't believe in it. They're literally making it worse for everyone else. I hope you do finish the comic but if you don't I'm happy you at least came back to give us a goodbye, that was really nice of you. I hope everything goes well and I'm sorry about the loss of drawings too! I hope you have a speedy recovery and please don't push yourself!!! 💛💛💛
