Not a fic rec, but a wish list item:
Watching Deception on ABC - I now totally have the head canon that Cameron was the self sacrificing brother who volunteered to be the one on stage because it meant if something went wrong (which it has - he’s stated numerous times he’s been in the hospital), it happened to him, not Jonathan. And Jonathan was/is the mastermind because SOMEONE had to make sure the tricks were safe, and it clearly wasn’t going to be their dad.
I need a fic. Like. Stat. Heeeelp.
I am 8 years late to the fandom. I was there when it aired!!! How did I miss all of these?!?!
Let me do a trick for them. It'll tell us something.
I have beef with ABC til this day
Thinking about how Alan Wake's and Hadestown's stories could in any way complement each other. Orpheus is Wake in the loop, without someone showing him that this can become a spiral. Or, in a sense, what makes Hadestown a complete tragedy, and Wake's story a hopeful one that everything will be resolved in the end, is that Orpheus's journey was never meant to be a spiral; it was always meant to be a loop with no way out.
The amount of racism I’ve seen against The Odyssey’s casting on Chinese/Mandarin/Cantonese speaking social media platforms is INSANE.
There are people saying “if she were smart enough she’d turn down this kind of role that are originally white,” “this DEI is actually a propaganda to trying and make people hate POC,” “They should just stick to their own characters and no one will complain, like Sinners and Black Panther” sir WTF ARE YOU TALKING ABOUT, and to throw around N words like that WHAT THE FAQ
these people are (I can guarantee)yellow ass East Asians THEY AREN’T EVEN WHITE
And there’s no solution to this because they are so caught in their fantasy that they’ve convinced themselves to be treated as an equal to white ppl, they refuse to even learn about any of the problems!!!!!
(I should probably clarify that I myself am an East Asian
Is it just me or Antony Starr looks uncannily like Troy Baker’s Brother now?
Play some psycho brothers idk
Just saw the leak/spoiler of the (for now) cancelled Buffy sequel and omg I was robbed. I really do hope now that Chloe Zhau has swept the award season again Hulu would really consider continuing the series.
I mean what do you mean Jack Cutmore-Scott is-
Also Jack Cutmore-Scott has to be one of the unlikeliest actors of his age. The guy has a curse with tv series he might as well just stick to movies tbh. Like Nolan I know you can keep this boi working (he’s been in three Nolan movies in a row btw), give him a bigger role plz.
Also idk why he keeps getting casted in comedy roles. Maybe he likes it but his strength is clearly at more serious roles (tho I do love him in Frasier
im diving into the deepest abyss on the internet to find that one sh*tty show of one of my favorite actors.
Where are you?
i have loved you since we were eighteen /rabbot fanvid x 18
Haven’t written a fanfic in like, what, 3 years? Feels so good to be writing again.
