Lately I've been thinking of Ichimatsu attempting to cannibalise Todomatsu, but he just can't do it. Yeah, he has a lot of resentment for Karamatsu as well, but the way it manifest towards Totty is different. Less, "I wish you didn't turn out the way you did," and more "I wish I was as well-adjusted as you."

For the most part, he's pretty ambivalent towards his youngest brother, but the feeling tends to flare up whenever Totty's got good things going for him. Thankfully, those moments were rare enough for him to calm down.

I think the driving factor for Ichimatsu to actually go through with it would likely be a girl. One who actually likes his brother--unlike that pharmacy clerk--and doesn't seem to see Todomatsu for the failure he truly is. Ichimatsu's happy for him, of course, but that doesn't make it any easier.

He'd likely hesitate because yeah, sure, he cares about Totty, but then even if ate him, what'll come after that? It's not like eating him would actually mean he'd be more like him. If anything, Ichimatsu's more scared that if he's successful, it's just further proof that everything wrong with him falls on nothing but himself.

But that doesn't stop him from trying, even if all of his senses are screaming at him not to.

Hi Anon! I haven't been on Tumblr in a while, so sorry for the late response ^^;; It's nice to meet another BLmatsu blogger though! I'll take the time to answer each question.

Favorite sextuplet?

It might be fairly obvious, it's definitely Ichimatsu, although Karamatsu and Choromatsu are tied for second place. I just really love his personality ;w;

Favorite BLMatsu ship? (And could you say why? I would love to hear your reasonings!)

KaraIchi/IchiKara! I'm not really picky, I love Iromatsu regardless of the dynamic. I love them together not just because they're some of my favourite brothers, but also 'cus I find their dynamic to be really fun to write. Diving into angst is fun for me, and all the hints about their past friendship during Osomatsu-san: The Movie are great fuel to the fire! :)

Favorite platonic duo?

This is really difficult, but it would have to be a tie between Kinnikumatsu, Nenchuumatsu, and Suirikumatsu. Honourable mention for Suujimatsu and Bakamatsu, I can't choose just one!!! @_@ I think so many of the platonic duos are fun!!!

Favorite BLMatsu Trio?

ParkaKara, ChoukeiIchi, IroOso (although I think that last one is pretty rare). I just love their dynamic together, regardless of who's bottoming!! It's so cute whenever the tops argue about who gets to do what as well!!

Favorite platonic Trio?

Either Otoutomatsu (Ichimatsu, Jyushimatsu, Todomatsu) or Evenmatsu (Karamatsu, Ichimatsu, Todomatsu). If there was a name for the four of them together, it would be a godsend. I love Otouto because it's so cute seeing the younger brothers band together, and it's nice seeing Ichimatsu take on the role of cool, responsible nii-san. Evenmatsu is great though because I love imagining 110 messing with Kara lol

What BLMatsu ship you think is underrated?

I'm biased, but 110matsu. I NEED MORE TOTTY AND ICHI TOGETHER!!! They've got so much potential!!!

Interactions between which sextuplets would you like to see more of in the anime?

Bakamatsu and Nenchuumatsu scenes are always a treat, so I'd really like to see more of them. 110matsu def needs more representation too!

Favorite canon BLMatsu moment?

This is probably sacrilege as a huge 24/42 shipper, but the entirety of the Bakamatsu massage skit. The Iromatsu cablecar scene during the Mt. Takao episode was shipping fuel for me specifically though.

Codependency. Huge Ws if it's my OTP, but I vibe with it for all the BLmatsu ships. GIVE ME ALL THE ANGST! WHUMP OR NO COMFORT, IT DOESN'T MATTER!!!

I don't have a lot of BLmatsu stuff published currently, but I would say "This could mean everything to me" on AO3's been a lot of fun to write so far! Now if only I had the time to finish the rest of it... (I'm writing chapters veeery slowly).

There's so many amazing works out there that it's so hard to choose! In terms of fanfiction though, it would absolutely have to be Lunation by RageQuits. I really hope it gets finished someday.

Here i use both the interpolation of the grease pencil and the automatic one from the keyframes to animate everything, looks pretty clean and is relatively low effort to make!! o(*°▽°*)o✨✨

I've been daydreaming of 18iromatsu again. I'd really like to imagine that they used to share a love for writing; Karamatsu loved prose and poetry, while Ichimatsu preferred making comics, and occasionally wrote scripts after Kara said he would probably be good at it.

Can you imagine if years later, Ichimatsu found all of Karamatsu's notes quietly tucked away in a weathered tin box in their closet? He'd probably be too curious to not take a peek. Reading through them was so nostalgic, but among them were drafts he had never seen before.

Can you envision how fucked up Ichimatsu's emotions would be upon recognising they're his work? More specifically, English rewritings of what he's shared with Karamatsu before?

He'd probably be shocked and flattered at first. How could someone like his writing that much that they'd translate it? Sure, it was pretty ass--it was too literal to the original text, and the grammar made no sense at times, but Karamatsu cared enough to try.

Then the anger would slip in. Why did Karamatsu never tell him? He could've helped him. Could've at least tutored him more. Did he just not trust Ichimatsu enough?

And then finally, sadness.

Ah, right. It was probably his fault for pushing Karamatsu away. When did everything change? Why couldn't he bring himself to just be nicer to him? It's not like he actually hated Karamatsu, but why did he have to be so insufferable all the time?

Ichimatsu probably misses how they used to be. Probably even misses Karamatsu, too. But there's not much he can do about it now, and he'd be damned if he actually had to do some self-reflecting for once.
