hey, i'm always down to answer the same question twice! (LOL.) but uh, i'm actually not really the strongest person to maybe answer these questions because i myself dont really care much for labels! i dont know, it's not something i've really thought about... for myself, or for these characters haha.

i'm sure someone else can chime in with their own ideas! but i dont think terry would be quick to label himself, or he'd kick himself in the head before he did and think it a civilized-malibu-terry thing to do. idk. maybe he's bisexual? he can dual wield and it's at the top of our worries.

Did you watch karate kid legends? If so, what did you think about it?

yes i did - went to the theatres and everything with a very dear friend of mine - and i absolutely ADORED it. hahaha, take everything i say with a grain of sugar. canon is a vaccuum, nothing matters, and nothing ever makes sense in the ever illustrious world of karate fun times... so really, i kinda don't care to criticize it?

but anyways! i love aramis knight - loved him with lewis tan starring in into the badlands, a phenomenal show - and i think he made a WONDERFUL broody teenaged villain, squealed stupid everytime he made it on screen. i also really loved that our protagonist had a friend; alan reminds me so much of my own best friend, in that... he is also a math tutor! LOL! i think i'm also biased when i say i loved the teensy tiny little calculus reference in the movie.

what i will say is that legends feels so unapologetically 202k teenaged. from its soundtrack (i waaalk this earth all by myseeelf/benson boone) to its charming cast of characters (li and mia, adorable but also alan being a little third wheel very much MORE adorable) and what i will define as li's air of nonchalance... i think this film has a very feel good vibe about it. it'll be 2035 and i'll look back on it with a fondness i cannot muster up at the moment. it's definitely something i'm going to be nostalgic about in years to come. it has the charm of the previous four films; i don't walk into a karate kid film asking for ANYTHING but fun karate.

(also side lore, but the friend i went and saw the film with is like,,, one step away from ben wang??? omg it was a hilarious conversation. that's a story you can come ask me for some other time though LMAOOO. i freaked out.)

i don't know, anon! i loved karate kid legends. sony can actually make one billion more karate kids. i think everyone's a karate kid. honest to god, i'm so full of love in my heart and i just loved it all.

i find them INCREDIBLY compelling... actually, i drafted something out for a fic a while ago where silver had found chozen in okinawa long before daniel could retrieve him during the japan s3 trip, and twisted him into believing that daniel was "tainting the ideals of miyagi-do" in that little post-s3 bubble. i genuinely think those two could've been a force to be reckoned with had they not been so fiercely loyal to their own tenets, and i think they both really honored that in each other in their little s5 finale battle. and yeah! terry wanted him BAD LMAO.
