Batman and Lois Lane:
Just a simple Clark Kent:
Então, sem nenhuma explicação, eu simplesmente sinto que daria um sorriso genuíno se estivesse em um cinema assistindo ao filme do Batman da DC ou Batman 2 e visse um criminoso ou civil encontrando o Batman e automaticamente usando uma cruz ou um rosário como a fucking protective shield ¯\_ʘ‿ʘ_/
DETECTIVE COMICS (1937) ISSUE #800
While everyone else was fighting each other except Dick and Steph, I did like how Dick and Steph tried to stand back to back while they were talking to each other so they could protect themselves and each other.
New Titans #34
Clark, come here...
I keep wondering if Batman doesn't crack a smile, even a small one, when he notices a pattern: put any one of his little birds on a team… and presto. In no time, they're leading
New Titans (2026) 34
Symbrock's DNA is terrifying; the hatred for Spider-Man is intertwined in his genes¯\_(ツ)_/¯
Okay, this fact is completely irrelevant BUT FOR ME, Batman being with Clowhunter and Khoa at the time of his disappearance and supposed death IS a relevant fact

I realize the bar is really in hell when I actually feel happy, like almost celebrating, because they finally acknowledged that Dylan is not okay in the middle of this bunch of happy idiots who are completely neglectful?
It feels like EVERYTHING is more important than the literal teenager who’s been through more shit than I even want to list!?
(yes, the blonde boy walking up front with his hands in his pockets and obviously looking downcast is Dylan)
And Mary Jane comes with this virtue-signaling crap, talking about Eddie and children (Obviously focusing on Dylan), but I never once saw her even trying to be some kind of adult figure he could actually trust?
Someone who would make him feel safe enough to open up, to vent, without fear of being judged or abandoned.
In reality I don’t even remember her trying to approach Dylan in the slightest.
Like even Paul did more of that??
(I'm pretty sure there's more but I don't care enough about Paul to look for it)
try to defend the child by saying the least? doesn't count.
(And no, I'm not ignoring Paul's stupidity in this scene)
and if you don't see the Venom symbiote talking to Dylan but rather Mary Jane, we really have very different interpretations
Anyway, this isn't a direct criticism of Mary Jane, this is more of a venting that you can literally ignore.
(I really hope this The Amazing Spider-Man/Venom death spiral is a breath of wind in our tired faces)
I felt...like a child receiving a bag of candy when I saw this specific scene¯\_༼ ಥ ‿ ಥ ༽_/¯
Batgirls (2022) °18
(I don't really have much to say, I just thought this little klyntar fragment was so cute...◖⚆ᴥ⚆◗)
Symbie, diretamente de O Espetacular Homem-Aranha (2025)
I love the Gotham Irregulars, but I miss Colin Wilkes
Well, let’s start from the beginning:
Currently, in the 2023 Batman and Robin series by Phillip Kennedy Johnson, we were introduced to the Gotham Irregulars — a group of street kids who assist Batman and Robin in urban missions, infiltrations, and investigations where adult vigiants/ Police ou People who don't exactly know Gotham like they do don’t quite fit.
Perhaps inspired by the Baker Street Irregulars from Sherlock Holmes?lock Holmes?
Anyway, they receive guidance and support from Batman, who takes on an almost godfather-like role.
Their dynamic with Batman — especially with Damian — and even their brief moment alongside Jonathan Kent made many fans grow even more attached.
(Myself included.)
However…
# Colin Wilkes (Abuse)
Colin Wilkes, known as Abuse, is a character created by Paul Dini and Dustin Nguyen who debuted in Detective Comics #847 (1937)
An orphan, Colin endured deep trauma, including phobias, abandonment issues, and unstable experiences in foster homes.
Kidnapped by Scarecrow, he was subjected to experiments with a synthetic version of Venom — the same steroid that grants superhuman strength to Bane.
This resulted in powers that allow him to transform into a gigantic and extremely strong form when triggered, resembling a childlike and unstable version of the Hulk or Solomon Grundy
(Scarecrow intended to use him as a kind of weapon against Batman, believing he wouldn’t hit a child — forgetting that hitting someone is far from the only method the Bat uses to win a fight.)
Despite his tragic origin, Colin chose to use his abilities to protect the vulnerable.
Adopting the codename Abuse, he became a street vigilante who prioritizes defending the weak, even though his monstrous appearance makes him feared.
His greatest relevance, however, lies in his relationship with Damian Wayne.
In Batman: Streets of Gotham, Colin was Damian’s first true friend outside the Bat-Family.
(Of course, no one surpasses our beloved Superboy, BUT ANYWAY.)
The two practically met while investigating Victor Zsasz, who was exploiting children in deadly fights.
This friendship was further explored in stories like Batman: Li’l Gotham, where their dynamic is portrayed in a light and affectionate way.
Although Colin remains canonical within the DC Universe — even making a brief appearance alongside Cassandra Cain in a comic — he hasn’t received significant use since his original stories.
(this last comic (・ั﹏・ั) )
I truly miss him, especially now that Damian’s supporting cast (and circle of friends) is expanding. It would be a valuable opportunity — at least to me — for DC to reconnect a rich and underused character to a current narrative that celebrates exactly the kind of hero he represents.
Can we, like, never forget the fact that CANONICALLY during one of Dylan Brock's first encounters with Spider-Man, he PRACTICALLY GROWLED?
He practically growled at Spider-Man, and let's face it, Eddie's smile couldn't have been more genuine ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
The genuine smile of a proud father.
Peter Parker:
(It just seems that no matter how many times I see this scene, it simply doesn't lose its charm!)
ABSOLUTE CARNAGE ISSUE #1
I’ve been following some recent tweets criticizing Batman’s hypocrisy and talking about his privilege, especially after the scene in Batman and Robin* #29, where Damian confronts Bruce about Mercer.
I really dislike it when both writers and “fans” try to frame Bruce as a blind hypocrite who, even after YEARS dealing with his city’s social issues, somehow doesn’t understand… class differences?
Bruce traveled the world, lived among different cultures, classes, and extreme realities, and he *did* develop an awareness of inequality — something clearly shown in story arcs where he fights corruption and oppressive power structures.
Damian, raised within the League of Assassins under extreme discipline, also never lived an ordinary life or experienced scarcity, which actually makes his questioning of alternative paths even more impactful, but…If the argument is that Bruce doesn’t recognize his privilege and is therefore often hypocritical and alienated for having grown up without major financial hardship, then, for the sake of consistency, shouldn’t the same apply to Damian?(raised by the League of Assassins with extreme training, but never having experienced a “normal” life or financial scarcity),Talia al Ghul (born into a position of power within the League, with no real deprivation when it comes to resources), and even Tim Drake?(His family owned a mansion that was literally next door to Wayne Manor?)
In short, classic stories show Bruce using his fortune to challenge corrupt elites, not to perpetuate them.
(And *Absolute Batman* proves that the vigilante can exist without billionaire wealth, without a mansion, or world travel.)
Anyway, I'm only writing this at 3 AM, so...
(Batman and Robin n°29)
I would absolutely love to see a Webtoon dedicated exclusively to those two public relations professionals
(very much in the Batman: Wayne Family Adventures style)
dealing with the countless chaotic situations of the Wayne family.
Like, imagine their day-to-day lives devoted to preserving the impeccable public image of the Waynes, while Bruce and the other family members are constantly late or getting involved in increasingly absurd and unpredictable circumstances!?
(It doesn’t even need to be a full Webtoon—just a few comic strips would already be perfect ༎ຶ‿༎ຶ)
