Hello! — Intro

I/we are Mocha! Or, the Coffeeshop Collective.

We’re a new system, although we’ve been in the community as a supporter for a while, we aren’t fully educated on how DID/OSDD works. I may ask stupid questions or do stupid things, but feel free to correct us! (Nicely, please, we have severe RSD)

We are aware of 3 of us at the moment, though I’m fairly sure there are more. Either way, I’m Mocha, and I’ll likely be talking the most!

We are currently diagnosed with many things, which are detailed in our carrd, but notably we are waiting to turn 18 so we can be evaluated for DID officially.

Additionally, we are similarly waiting for HPD, as we are almost 90% sure we do have, but are unable to get diagnosed or formally recognized due to being a minor.

I’ll probably post about HPD and questions about systemhood, but please feel free to help inform us about things! I do request you be cautious of if things come off as passive aggressive, as we struggle with severe RSD and easily take things personally. :(

However, we do like attention and if people are soft with us, it makes us feel very appreciated and happy. This isn’t required though :]

Tw for neglect (vent)

Parents refusing to get us food we can eat, then after we haven’t eaten to the point of major issues, we end up passing out and hitting our head on the floor. They literally do not bat an eye. Threw up and they said “just wait it out”. I feel like we may have some issues. We may have a concussion and they said to just go take a nap.

regarding your last post,, the dissociation and stress is still yours. parts/alters are not separate people, and while i know most people with Complex Dissociative Disorders have gone through a period of time where they saw their parts/alters as separate people, its really harmful to furture recovery because it can actually increase dissociative barriers.

not saying you cant continue to say stuff like that, just that i would be careful because it can unknowingly be harmful.

I am aware. Mostly I meant they were stressed about something that isn’t a problem I (as a different alter) have, in this case being a specific trigger for them only

(The dissociation part I realize sounds like it was also theirs but I meant that collectively, grammar is hard)

Two new guys found!

First one, hi Mariyel! As far as we (them and I) know, they’re a pretty big amnesia / dissociation holder. They keep forgetting their own name every few hours so we wrote it down multiple places.

Second one I’m not fully sure who it is, but signs point to Odile from ISAT. They haven’t talked much but when they do they seem to attach more to her than anything else.

Does anyone have advice for helping both of them adjust? :’] Mariyel is still extremely shy and self conscious because they’re afraid they’ll forget anything people tell them, and the other/Odile is just quiet in general but seems to spike anxiety when around

Hi. We’re back. Parents found Simplyplural on our computer after randomly searching after we “acted weird” and are now mad at us for “giving into trends” and took away devices for a while.

We’re back. Told them we wouldn’t do it anymore. Trying to keep things more locked down. Hiding all accounts, they aren’t allowed on our phone thankfully and we’re locking our computer more often.

Problem is I think we split during this and now we couldn’t track it. Second guessing ourself as well.
