Hi, how is it going? I recently remembered your dreomione fic and I was wondering if you have plans to continue it in the future? It's great, still as good as I remembered. Hope everything is fine :)

Oh my goodness, thank you for this! Honestly, I barely use Tumblr at the moment, and I'm so sorry this has sat gathering dust for goodness knows how long! I've also been deeply unwell for a really long time, so finding the energy to write around various doctor's and hospital appointments has been... difficult. Things are looking up though, so that's nice :)

I'd love to finish their story - it haunts my dreams, and I still add to their Pinterest board every now and again when I come across something fitting - but I just don't know when that'll be possible. That makes me really sad, but finding people's comments (even recent ones!) on my AO3 is so wonderful, even though it's been on hiatus for so darned long.

Thank you for this - I'm not sure where I'm really going with this answer, but I'm just so grateful that you took the time to stop by and see what stage the story's at. Maybe it'll be a little energy boost for me and I'll figure out another chapter?

I've got the main story beats mapped out, and I know what I want to happen, and when, but I have a bit of a black hole that I need to traverse in order to get them all from where they currently are into the events that will happen before the final resolution... (if that makes any sense at all!). I should just write the next bit that I can, instead of getting hung up on the bit that isn't working, and I've done a little of that already, but I really just need to find the energy and the time...

The venomous tentacula is still going strong though, so maybe it'll finish it for me if I feed it enough chizpurfles...

Asks like the one you got are the main reason I stopped writing Dreomione (and stopped writing for HP altogether, honestly). I love that you're still plugging along at your story, it's the only one I still read. It's so good.

nice to see an update! also: it's the 21st century, cringe is out, we love characters with quirks and disabilities, *especially* if they are self-representative. like, yes that was offensive, actually, especially since the author is representing themself and their family. misinformation and bad representation are awful in fics but there's nothing wrong with characters who are portrayed accurately and respectfully. I love your characterizations! keep up the kind of writing that keeps you writing!

Not going to lie, it did make me insecure about posting any more when I read that other ask, but the comments over on AO3 (and a few here too) reassured me that it's just one person for whom it's not working, which is totally fine. I will dial it back a bit in transcribing his stutter, for ease of reading, but I'm not going to write it out completely, or make it any less of Theo's story.

Sorry it’s taking away from your enjoyment of the story, but it’s a part of his character for me and I’m not going to take it out. If it annoys you that much, just stop reading it.

Edit: actually this is important to me as someone who stutters, and whose father also stutters. I get that the format is annoying to read maybe, but we know nothing about Theo in the books/canon, and I chose to give him a stammer in this AU. His issues come and go, as many speech issues can, but if you don’t like it, just don’t read it?
