the thing that upsets me most here is that quite a few of these sample replies show profile photos of children. These people are raising families and kids. And for those fathers with daughters,I wonder how amusing they would find it if they knew there was at least a 1 in 4 chance of their own child being sexually assaulted or raped in her own lifetime.

i saw this from an event page for a protest against the Casualties who is a serial rapist/abuser in the boston activist (i think mostly anarchist) community. i’m not too plugged in but i know enough ppl to know how egregious this fucker has been. im hoping to make it to tonight. but i kid you not this is literally the first and only poster i have seen regarding rape culture that actually includes a statement about rape apologists, that "if you are not on the side of the survivor, you ARE on the side of the rapist"

My therapist gave me an awesome idea and it has been working so far. She told me to freeze a whole fresh fruit like an orange and then whenever you feel like hurting yourself, press the fruit as hard as you need to against whatever you want to hurt.
