it's always funny having a pet peeve that is truly not worth being mad over but it ticks you off every time like a switch in your brain... anyway i saw a post on twitter framed in that "does anyone [blank?]...? just me? okay..." and as usual it infuriated me because it's ALWAYS something that is normal/common/niche but the person posting it is clearly in the niche group that would do that so it's purely and uselessly rhetorical. you're engaging in farce here, random poster. you're forcing me to engage in your farce. it comes off as so needlessly begging for attention every time it's used. especially that little "just me? okay..."
that's the part that genuinely pisses me off because what, you're trying to pretend you're not fishing for attention/affirmation by acting like you already know no one actually does [blank]? when you know (and i know) that if you really didn't think this was common behavior you probably wouldn't post it phrased to garner agreement in the first place? dispense with the farce!! it's so obviously a ploy for agreement and assurance it comes off really, really annoying.

This absolutely possessed me and I couldn't stop until I finished it. I didn't do one last year unlike previous years, but this is another They Might Be Giants lyric comic about Stanley Pines, the guy of all time! The song is Unpronounceable. I recommend listening while you read :)
This ended up being, more than anything else, a love letter to Gravity Falls' prop and setting designs?? I started this because this guy is my fave, and ended it with hand pain LMAO
