“Oh, YEAH, it’s the former, for sure,” said Peter. While the intent behind Alecto’s words bothered him, the words themselves were almost amusing. “I’m wearing a diaper right now. It’s real comfy, when I have to sit on a wooden chair for a while. It’s like a cushion that’s always with me. The potty training is still … an ongoing progress, obviously.”

“DISGUSTING.” alecto muttered, the amusement on his face making alecto want to throttle him. “and far more information than anyone could ever need.” she continued, making a face to express her distaste. “do the world a favour and never speak again, pettigrew.”

he was stretched out on their sofa, waiting for alecto to come home, he’d gotten a little too close for comfort on a mission and now sported a large gash across his stomach. it was all padded up with bandages but he wasn’t about to cast the spell to fix himself since the quidditch debacle back at school so he just had to wait for his sister to come home and do it for him. hearing her footsteps, amycus propped himself up on his elbows and groaned as it put pressure on his wound and the white gauze gradually turned crimson. “ale is that you?”

ALECTO could still remember the first time she came home to her brother lying on the couch practically bleeding out. it felt as though someone was grabbing her heart, trying to crush it. her hands had shaken that whole night. she was more used to it now however, “nope, it’s an assassin come to finish the job.” she quipped, already kneeling beside him on the couch, beginning to assess the damage. “what happened, am?” she asked, more softly this time. the fear she felt seeing her baby brother this way never totally subsiding, no matter how many times she’d healed him before.

“NOT REALLY,” he says, even if he’s still mulling over her words, considering them much longer than he should. “I mean, good for the toddlers of the world, for being better walkers than me. I’m not that bothered. Got more … real stuff to be concerned with than my skills at walking and all.”

"OH, OF course you do. my mistake.” alecto shot back sarcastically, all her effort going towards not laughing at how he considered her words. “so what exactly are these better things? getting toilet trained? learning the alphabet?”

“I get that the cobbled street gives Diagon Alley a certain … vibe, but it’s fucking inconvenient.” mutters Peter, rubbing his ankle. He’s on his way home from the Leaky Cauldron ( he can’t apparate from that place; it’s too noisy for him to focus ) and struggles to find his balance as he puts his leg back down. He blames the street, not the last shot he shouldn’t have consumed. “I mean — why can’t the street just be straight, ya know? Makes it much easier to walk ‘em, that’s for sure!”

ALECTO can’t keep herself from rolling her eyes when she says peter struggling. although, she can’t say she’s surprised, pettigrew had always seemed completely incompetent to her. “does the fact that a toddler could do a better job at walking in a straight line concern you at all?” she scoffed.

Narcissa wouldn’t have chosen The Three Broomstick as her choice of meeting, but the other woman seemed to have her mind set. Why? Well, that was beyond her. After a long discussion, one which she tried not to lean away from as her breath smelled absolutely terrible she bid the woman a goodbye and got up with a shake of her head. As she walked over to the bar, her fancy heels clicked along the floor and she sat elegantly upon the stool after setting a napkin over it so it didn’t touch her expensive dress.

“Oh, that woman was absolutely horrible. Her outfit didn’t even match.” She said as she rubbed at her temples. “How she makes the most spectacular bouquets, I have no idea.”

ALECTO had  been sneaking glances at the blonde woman and her companion between sips from the glass in her hand. she hadn’t been able to place what narcissa of all people was doing with a woman like that, but it clicked into place when she spoke. “i certainly hope she does.” the fiery haired girl answered. “there is no excuse to go around looking like that.”

okay so same deal, i haven’t played alecto in a very long time and i’m still kinda fleshing her out, so these are just the basics for now. you can expect some edits and additions in the near future.

so basically the carrows were not super wealthy or influential or anything, they lost most of their social standing quite a few years back, before alecto was born but they clung desperately to their pride. the fact that they carried a name of the sacred 28, made them superior to most of the wizarding world.

as a result, alecto was instilled with a very strong sense of pride and ambition. alecto very much has a ‘better than you’ attitude and acts as though she’s above everyone else.

that said, she has a lot of insecurities. she feels it’s her responsibility to restore her family’s legacy and is a bit of a social climber. she can be a little rough around the edges, but she tries to hide that in order to gain the approval of the other pureblood families.

kinda idolizes the black sisters, bellatrix in particular. despises andromeda for literally having it all and choosing to walk away from that.

honestly kind of a flirt. a bit of a femme fatale type, her obsession with social climbing has led to her adopting that kind of personality and she kinda revels in seducing people and using them for her own gain.

definitely not at the point we see her in the books where she’s lets face it, full on psycho who enjoys torture and murder but she’s definitely getting there. she’s very passionate about the death eater cause and would do pretty much anything to prove her value. for sure wouldn’t have much hesitation in doing whatever was asked of her 100% would not hesitate to kill a bitch if they came near her brother.

amycus is her life. she’d do literally anything to protect him. probably the only person she truly feels she can let her guard down around and is worried about him 24/7.
