If you were to resort to piracy over being exhausted over the various streaming services recreating the nickling and diming of the cable television industry (and I’m not saying you should - just… if you happen to find yourself there), a full VPN is not required.

You can have your torrent activity go through a proxy (while the rest of your traffic isn’t shuttled through there) using services like BTGuard. All the torrent activity is run through the proxy:

If your ISP has bandwidth caps, you’ll still run into those. But they won’t know what you’re transferring.

Just… information out there that you might find useful, in the age of ten-thousand different streaming services that all want you to keep adding more paid subscriptions.

I don’t plan on using my blog to post explicitly political content (Social justice content is a different matter entirely), but I was reading the issues page for a candidate I already really liked and I stumbled on this beautiful page. I then proceeded to check every other announced and prospective candidates websites to see if there was any mention of ASD. Not only is Andrew Yang the only presidential candidate with a stance on autism, that stance is “Destigmatize autism and /related neurological profiles/ as commonplace and distinct.” I just cannot stop marvelling at how happy the phrase “autism and related neurological profiles” makes me.

Understanding this is your opinion. It is completely unfair as a supporter of Yang to pray from them to drop out. Is his chances low, yes. But he represents me the BEST and I want him to speak for me even if he doesn't win because I would like my opinions to be heard on a national stage because often as a black lgbtq woman entrepreneur he's the closest I've got.

On Big Mouth Season 3 they explored the differences that could happen when a girl comes out as pan, and when a boy comes out as bi, having the difference be in reception and the difference in reception be influenced by the male gaze. in ali’s case, the boys in school immediately fetishize her sexuality and rank her as the hottest girl in school, and inspired by the seemingly warm reception she gets, jay comes out as bi too, only to have his peers be uncomfortable with it, or tell him he’s faking it for attention. later on in the episode, ali approaches jay and tells him that he is so brave for coming out, and when he bemoans the differences in how their coming outs at the school were received, she tells him that in her old school she told her best friend she liked her, then was called a ‘lesbo’ and ostracized by everyone at school, to the point where she had to leave. they support each other and treat each other with kindness throughout this whole incident. i think it was really important in showing how coming out is tricky, and that there are always going to be situations where you’re not received well because homophobia/biphobia exists in all sorts of forms, and it’s important that we continue to support other lgbt people we know because it can really be such a lonely fight and we have to stick together

My self confidence and self assurance have been really high lately but I'm so triggered today. My inner world bf is a factive of somebody real and ik that he's an alter and not like the real person but the person he based from posted a pic with his girlfriend and I'm extremely triggered by it at a time where I was already feeling insecure. I'm working so hard but there are always tough days.
