My friend's mom's girlfriend has cancer and needs some extra help on her donation page over the next three days. "Hi Folks!!! Ann & Kate need one final HUGE push over the next three days to support them through the end of this summer. Ann will start to access limited SSI funds in September (hopefully) but that means that we need to shut the donation aspect of this site down on Monday."

Hey, I’ve been following your blog for a few years now. I’m much more a watcher than an active participant, but I wasn’t sure where else to go to with this. I’ve just put up a Patreon page for my writing because I need help.

See, I start my Junior year in college soon and my parents have stopped even giving me even advice on paying for it.

To make matters worse my computer crashed and I can’t find a way to pay for a new one and my financial aid is worse than ever.

But the reason I wanted to submit this here is that I’m autistic which makes it really hard to work even minimum wage jobs (the last time I did it lasted five months and I was being sick every day). Everyone keeps telling me to get a job to pay for college/a new laptop, but laptops are $700 and I need to be on a payment plan by August 5th to even come back next year. And nobody seems to understand that I actually can’t get a job without being physically sick. Plus, that would mean what little I get in SSI benefits can be taken away, and I’d be starting the school year with little to no source of income.

I wasn’t sure where else to go with this. Nobody seems to understand that I can’t work minimum wage as easily as Neurotypical people. So all I’m asking is if anyone out there has anything to spare, it would mean a great deal to me if you could become a patron on Patreon. Even if you can’t, just reblogging this would mean the world to me.

I’m sorry if this isn’t the right place to send this kind of thing, but I just wanted to end with thanking you for having such a great blog.

There’s going to be a new “pro-life” anti-abortion law in Poland. And it’s horrible. It’s disgusting, it treats women in a horrible way and there have already been protests. Please read this post about it. Please. What follows is my translation of a Facebook post that now has over 23k shares and which very clearly explains the whole thing. Please spend 5 minutes of your time reading it to know what might happen to your Polish followers or friends.

“A conceived child is a human being in a prenatal state, from the moment the female gamete and male gamete connect” - this is what the project of a new legal act states. So far it has been approved by the episcopate, the prime minister [who is a woman by the way] and the leader of the current ruling political party. (…)

It doesn’t affect only women. Everyone single one of us has a sister, a cousin, a mother, a colleague from work, a neighbour, a teacher, an employer or an employee - and all of these women will be affected by this new law. Women get pregnant. And sooner or later, you or a woman you know, might get pregnant and suffer because of this new law. (…)

The Criminal Code will get a new section: “the prenatal murder”, for which one will get from 3 months up to 5 years of prison. And for this crime, everyone could be convicted: the mother, the doctor, and every person who helped - your friend who brought you emergency contraceptives bought in another country or your friend who let you stay in her house while you were getting an abortion in Czech Republic.

If the crime is involuntary, the punishment is up to 3 years of prison. The judge will be able to refrain from jail punishment. By “involuntary” the law means a miscarriage. A miscarriage in a situation where a woman didn’t actively want to lose the baby, but “by her unwise actions she lead to her child’s death”.

This, THIS is why Teen Titans Go! is the number one show on Cartoon Network right now (in ways of ratings anyways), people have been talking about how it’s the most viewed show because CN’s demographic is supposed to be young boys between 6-12, and they assume what with all the vulgar jokes and sexism in Teen Titans Go! that’s why it’s being viewed so much, because it’s catching it’s target audience; this isn’t true.

I’ve asked kids, boys and girls, if they liked Teen Titans Go! and everyone of them has said no, every single one of them thought it was stupid and they preferred Adventure Time and Steven Universe over it, but those shows were never on.

The reason it’s the most rated show on CN right now isn’t because there’s quality in it, it’s because it’s on all the fucking time. Cartoon Network is the only channel that airs cartoon’s 24/7, which are things that typically gets a child’s attention, so if kid’s are restricted from using the internet then all they have is TV and this is all they have to watch, so they watch and they watch and they watch, hoping for something decent, that of course, never comes because it’s 24/7 Teen Titans Go!

They’re airing this show so much because they know it doesn’t get positive reviews online, but since the original Teen Titans was such a cash cow, they thought this would be too, since they discovered they were wrong they had to find every way possible to get as much money out of it. This was what they came up with.

This show isn’t liked, it isn’t well viewed or good, it’s a replacement for Steven Universe and Adventure Time, original cartoons with no background, they don’t want new, they don’t want original, they want cheap, butchered after birth of what used to be magnificent. That’s why this show is doing so well.
