what companies who sell you anti aging stuff don't want you to know is that if you're chill about aging, your perception of attractiveness changes as you get older. there is no "wall" where you suddenly become ugly and unfuckable because in my experience what actually happens is you get into your thirties and suddenly realize that people in their thirties are hot as fuck and the "flaws" that the beauty industry wants you to panic about are a feature not a bug, and based on the std statistics in nursing homes I don't really expect that trajectory to change.

Writing 和風細雨 (he2feng1xi4yu3; gentle breeze and light rain) with a cat's tail on a water-writing mat.

Water-writing mats turn black when wet and return to their original colour once dry, so they are often used to practise calligraphy with water. The black colour allows you to see your writing clearly, and the mat can be reused as soon as the writing dries and disappears.

New to samplers, is there a website or the like to check if motifs fit together? I want to do the fish border (as per my last straw) but with the it will pass quote in any font

Man, a motifs website would be fantastic-- alas, I don't have one, but I can pop you the files for the fish border!

Corner piece gets mirrored to all four corners, leaping fish gets mirrored to the center of all sides, and the swimming fish piece will tile with both those pieces and seamlessly with itself. (The ugly colors are a side-effect of the design process-- they're intended to be randomized by the bot later!)

I've put the pixel art up on Google Drive, too, in case Tumblr messes with it.

note: I don't plan to put the full set of borders up online-- at least, not at this time, not before i figure out some logistics-- but this one's both a fave and a samplerbot original™️, so I don't see why not :)
