This automatic litter box is killing cats by trapping them under their lids, causing them to suffocate or have their spines crushed.

Several people have spoken up about how their cats have been killed because of this. These poor kitties experience excruciating pain and terror in their final moments.

These death-machines are being sold under numerous brand names and are even sold mimicking reputable models to trick cat owners. This makes finding a single group/person to pinpoint this on harder.

Videos/reviews of these machines that are warning of this are being taken down as well.

Please keep in mind; lids for litter boxes have no reason to be this strong.

By the way, if you're ever thinking "I want to draw, but I'll never be good enough" I encourage you to draw. I know how frustrating it can be to look out there and compare yourself to others, but understand that if it brings you joy, you should try anyway.

Online, you are exposed to a lot of people, especially people who are especially skilled in what they do. This doesn't mean they started out like that, a majority of artists started out the same as everyone else: Just drawing because they felt like it. Not only are there a lot of people out there who are experienced in drawing, but there are also a lot of people who are learning and getting into it (and every artist learns as they go!), just like you. What matters most out of it if it's making you happy.

Hey !!! Your whiplash au seems super super cool. I've been very very fixated on the role and existence of injury, Healthcare and disability in star wars especially pertaining to Leia's experiences surrounding it and was wondering if you'd wanna talk about Leia's amputation a bit ? Obviously no worries if not for whatever reason, love what u make !!!

AAAHHHH BEST ANON EVER- Okay so Unfortunately I can't talk much about it since this would be spoiling info revealed in Whiplash when the comic releases and I keep updating.

Because the AU takes place in an Earth-like equivalent to the galaxy, it definitively hasn't got the technology and weird shit Star Wars has- And I like this much better than if it were a Star Wars injury. SW has a way of avoiding disability by just giving the damn character a damn medical super-solution (Luke's hand...) and I don't fuck with that.

Whiplash also takes place in a post-canon timeline, after the main events of the Original Trilogy went down differently because the twins never met Han when they were supposed to in the first place (Because of Garris Shrike and Han's Shenanigans- Whiplash's whole thing). This led me to think of how could have some events went down without him -- Specially in the Hanleia side of things, since this is a Hanleia blog and the main idea was Hanleia after it also started to dip into Tomialteeth territory -- for example Leia's issues with being way too much of a sacrificial lamb, unconsciously making choices that end up with her as a martyr of the rebellion.

Whiplash has a much darker take on the OT than I've seen in most works, of course that Leia's suicidal tendencies cannot go unadressed. Her amputated Leg -- and fingies -- is the consequences of Leia's suicidal tendencies and Han not being there to put her feet on the ground (Hehe, ironic, right?).

I also put this au in an Earth-like setting so that everyone's actions would make bigger impacts. Make it as cruel as I can y'know.

Besides that, Leia's character isn't defined by her amputation, of course, she's much more than that. It does affect her in more action-like scenes, she can't run as fast as she wants to, she can't hold a pen like before. This reminds her constantly that her stupid suicidal choices only achieved to make her a less useful asset for the rebellion, it reminds her that her actions during the war still have consequences after the war (Leia's most important moral dilemma in Whiplash). It reminds her that, after the war, she doesn't have a purpose. Even though her amputation doesn't define her, She still thinks of it as a failure that completely defines her now that the war is over.
