As for the other accusations

She recorded her former friend ranting about being a Proshipper due to grooming and sent it to their other friends to tell them to drop them (as stated by the original twitter message by the person accusing Qwel of this action in the first place). Not the best action morally, but understandable as a reaction to disgust. I am not saying it was a good thing, I'm saying that stating it was to 'make fun of a victim for being groomed' is making Qwel into a fairytale villain where people only have bad intentions ever.

She has made bad decisions, many of them, and should address people sooner rather than later, but she is not black and white evil.

You do make a point. I'm not apart of the drama, I just wanted to spread awareness. Qwelver isn't a saint, but Rox is more worse. I don't want to be seen as a bad person about what I said, I am truly sorry for making her sound worse.

i understand the urge to be reactive abt the qwel situation but you are half-representing things to make her sound worse.

1) 'Qwel knew for 2 months'. If an unpaid team manager of the discord- not the actual game (Joji, the one who wrote the callout google doc), was under contract (by their own admittance), do you think Rox, a developer and co-owner of the game, would not be under contract? Do you know how contracts work? You can't fire someone because you find them icky. There needs to be illegal actions taken and even then you need to be able to prove it. If the victims or Qwel were able to prove what Rox did was illegal, he'd be in jail and this whole thing wouldn't be happening.

2) 'Qwel was warned 5 years ago'. Qwel was 16 years old 5 years ago. Rox has been called manipulative by many many different sources, including his victims who have also said yes Qwel was likely manipulated in some aspect as well. All the proof we have about her being 'told' is a screenshot saying 'that guy is a creep' in relation to Rox. Would you believe your (now shown to be manipulative) close friend or... some people you're somewhat friends with saying they suck?

3) 'Qwel kept in contact with him'. Is this from Rox's own twitter thread? The actual pedophile who is a known manipulator? In his own thread he also rants that Qwel 'lied' about the flavor frenzy files. His only proof? An 'edited' discord message and a somewhat recent iphone message. Plus, how many times did Qwel even respond to him in those messages? It looks like she said they'd keep in touch and then she ghosted him.

4) The recording. (Where Qwel said it was disgusting by the way) It is Two Years Old. How does a 2 year old recording suddenly resurface out of nowhere? Who recorded it, Rox? Is that how Duck Adam (who has been going after Qwel for years) got his hands on it? We don't know, do we? I don't trust this spoonfed information.

I think Qwel is a bad friend and a bad boss. I don't think she deserves a harassment campaign. I think that people are ignoring Rox's part in this somehow, to go after the woman next to him. She fired him Two Years Ago. There's no action she can take that would satisfy the community, some of them which are calling for her to die out of pure emotional reactions. People linked the actual pedophile's twitter thread in The BlushCrunch Discord many several times over, to a server full of over a million discord accounts, many of which are children, exposing them to him. Which causes more harm, I ask??

I was trying to spread awareness about the drama, I didn't mean to make it sound worse. Most of the stuff I written is mostly from videos I watched about the controversy. I'm truly sorry for half-representing things when I should've done more research.

Almost a month ago, DuckAdam has made a video about Qwelver lying to the community, she knew that Rox was a predator before she even hired him, and kept him for 2 months before firing him. Qwelver also kept in CONTACT with him after he got fired. Not only that, she saw the CP drawing Rox has made. Qwelver herself never made the apology for the victim of Rox, she had someone else to do it. As much as I don't like Duck Adam since he was friends with Rox, the victim did confirm that all of the proof is true. And not only did she knew about Rox's actions for 2 months, she knew WHAT HE WAS DOING SINCE 2021. And while a victim was venting to Qwelver about being groomed, she recorded it and sent it to her friends and mocking the victim. There's more about this controversy, but this is the best I can talk about. Please do not stay neutral about this, please stop playing Dandy's World for the victim, playing the game means giving Qwelver more money. She doesn't care about her community, she'll never make a response, and she's making another Toon Of The Week for the controversy to die down.
