if I see one more "why age verification is bad" post that doesn't even bother to mention that locking young people out of huge sections of the public sphere - literally the stated goal and primary impact of this shit - is wrong in and of itself I will simply start hitting people with bricks

yes yes biometric data privacy blah blah adults can hypothetically by harmed by this too. what about the immediate and deliberate and not at all hypothetical harm to youth. why are you acting like a potential data leak about what your face looks like, which if it ever happened would at least be generally recognised as a problem, is a more serious issue than cutting millions of people off from information and community and public expression which is happening right now in the open with large scale support

it's got the stench of fucking "banned books week" on it. thousands of adults congratulating themselves for reading books literally no one is trying to stop them from reading while doing nothing to improve access for the young people who are the ones actually having those books made off-limits to them.

Crash Bandicoot Villains art dump

Doodled a few Nina's while watching a movie with some moots. Was in a quick sketch mood

My moot @twixtworlds encouraged me to make my own take of pre-missile incident modern timeline N. Gin. I always hc'ed that he was a pretty chipper dude before the missile incident and he kept that disposition even after it but it was twisted along with his macabre interest being at the forefront of his personality.

As per the metal part on his head, before it was permanently embedded into his skull, it was a helmet he made to hide a massive scar (or skin defect, still deciding).

Also my moot @polterfiesta unintentionally reminded me on Discord that I still needed to make my own take of a Twinsanity N. Gin.

Both designs are for different AUs i have for the character. A Modern Timeline take (N-Sane Trilogy onward) and a Classic Timeline take. I've been mostly doing stuff with the Radical Era N-Gin with the Classic Timeline stuff.

And drawing N Gin for almost a few months straight made me remember the other chunky villain I hyperfixated on during my first ever Crash Bandicoot hyperfixation during Rona's Reign of Terror. (For the record, I hc N. Gin as a chunky man).

Plus, it gave me the chance to draw Emperor Velo. And draw my standard sona. I've been drawing my Radical era Bat-Terry for too long and needed to spice things up. Also I love drawing Battie being manhandled. It's so fun
