the fun thing abt cw's nancy drew though is that the entire premise of the show is anyone who even remotely cares about nancy even just a LITTLE absolutely yelling her name and actively trying to stop her from doing something that could be suicidal to prove a point and she just does not give a fuck dude. i'm almost finished with season 1 and she's almost died enough times that she makes a snarky one off comment about it to her dad how that's just her new normal lmfao. rn she's hauling around a guy who barely likes her in a haunted house with his dead girlfriend and they're both being attacked by her and she's like 'well i don't care if she tries to kill us! i'm staying in this house of horrors!' and he's frantically chasing after her like a father would a toddler yelling 'nancy no!!'

You are rapidly approaching my *least* favorite episode in the series. I won’t spoil it, but you’ll know it as soon as you see it. I get so mad every time.

#honestly the whole aglaeca storyline became exhausting after a while #I almost gave up on the show because of it

in 4x03 of nancy drew, carson says it’s almost been a year since kate died?? all 4 seasons have taken place in the same year???

Oh yeah, it’s a very quick timeline. We know that Nancy was working on, but never submitted, her college application when her mom was diagnosed. Knowing that Nancy is someone who would get her applications in early, we can assume that this was in November or December of 2018 (but could have also been in January or February of 2019 for regular admission). I don’t know if we actually see when Kate died in the show, but we know the year anniversary is coming up and the show is only in January/February of 2020.

That being said, Nancy meets Nick on July 4, 2019. Tiffany is killed, and the show begins, in late August 2019. Some people estimate that season 3 ends in January 2020 (after the four week time jump). That being said, are likely in late January/early February.

So we have only seen about 6 months of these characters lives at this point.
