So excited and happy it’s pride month!!! I’ve been feeling weird about my queer identity lately since I’ve been in a “straight” relationship for three years now (I’m queer, he’s a cis straight male). It’s strange because I’m still queer but it also feels like a lot has changed, and I’ve been wanting to find more ways to try and participate and live in my queer identity. Does any queer person in a straight passing relationship feel this?

Fantasy high fans I need help!! I just finished season 2 and I went to start season 3 but pretty quickly into the first episode I feel like I’m missing something. They are talking about having formed a sigil and like introducing these new characters that I don’t remember. Am I missing a lost episode? I saw that there were like two bonus episodes in season 2 which I thought were just like bonus content but not affecting the story but are they actually a part of the plot?

I just finished words of radiance (so good I’m totally hooked on the series now!!) but I was wondering if someone could maybe explain the oath gate and urithiru to me. I’d google but I’m worried I’ll get spoilers. I’m just a little confused by the description, so like, when Shallan turned the thing and opened the portal, did that transform the whole plateau into urithiru? Cause the people who weren’t inside that rock room were suddenly there. But then Kaladin goes to the platform and they are all gone. I’m just confused on how to actually get there

I’ve been bingeing so much game changer recently, last night I was having a bout of insomnia and in my half asleep half awake state I had this dream that me not being able to sleep was actually a whole episode of game changer, and my pillow was a prop and my blanket was a prop and everything about me trying to fall asleep was Sam’s messed up episode. Like every time I tried to close my eyes and be like “just fall back asleep” I’d hear Sam’s voice like “ooh players time to figure out what’s going on” or smth like that. Kind of a nightmare tbh

Question for dropout fans!! I just got a subscription and I see so much about game changer and want to start it, but I’m intimidated by all the episodes. Do I need to watch the series in order? Are there specific episodes which are must watches? I think I’ve seen like one random episode before but I also see a lot of posts about lore and stuff. So any tips?

Question for stormlight archive fans!!

So I read the Mistborn series a few months ago, and absolutely adored it. It was my first Brandon Sanderson series. After looking into the books and him, I discovered he was Mormon. I feel like since learning that fact and then reading the way of kings, it comes across as preachy to me now… I’m wondering if anyone can give me a spoiler free review of the rest of this series and if those vibes continue? I think I want to continue it either way, but I really don’t want to read a series where in the end, God and religion save the day. So does the rest of the series read as religious text?

Literally just need to rant right now cause I have no one to talk about this with but spoilers for survivor 49!!!

I’m so pissed off Savannah won. I’m actually so angry. Probably cause I had beef with her throughout this entire season, I just felt like she moved like a bully. I really hated the tribe lines this season and how nobody was trying to be strategic for so long and it was just a colours game. Savannah was the worst one, it felt like a king sitting on a throne just picking off the poor without hearing them out at all. She just reminds me so much of the mean girls from school. And her final speech felt so mean! Like I thought it was such a smart move of Christina to show that Savannah did not make connections with anyone other than her special alliance, and somehow they all still handed her the win. I give her props for the immunity and like objectively I get that she maybe played a good game but also no I’m angry that a bully won and I wanted Soph to win she was the ultimate underdog. Okay rant over

no more jokes about taylor swift's lyrics or about gaylor when all that does is distract from the fact that when it is no longer lucrative to present yourself as a liberal "progressive" artist she has quickly moved on to marrying and befriending trump supporters. i do not care if there was anything gay between her and her ex bestie when her new bestie brittany mahomes is being personally thanked by donald trump. i think it's a shame that all discourse i see on this site about her right now is about whether it's ridiculous and stupid to think she's not straight. what we should be talking about is what it means when the biggest international pop star is getting engaged to a trump supporter during a time when we are seeing eugenics white supremacy ads. i don't care to hear about the eras tour unless it's about how dave portnoy (a trump supporter and alleged rapist) got a personal handwritten note from her at the eras tour. it does not matter if you think she's a crap lyricist or the best lyricist of our generation when what matters is what her choice to align herself with maga signifies about the culture

Oh my god if anyone (like me) started watching this new season of project runway for Utica/Ethan and Law Roach… the last episode? I swore that soccer ball dress was going to be the worst look and get eliminated. I mean, it was literally just a cut up soccer ball. How did that win?? Did not like that at all. Maybe I don’t know fashion but like damn if it was drag race that queen would be in the bottom
