I tried experimenting with a new scales technique I saw and I really like how it turned out.

Needle felted Indigo!

Just a fun project I wanted to try. Her colors are a bit off due to a limited palette. There’s also a pipe cleaner armature underneath the felt to help with movement and structure.

A redraw of an older artwork of mine.

I drew these versions in 2019. I thought it was about time for another try lol.

Also there’s a clock because the piece was called “frozen in time.” I changed it to the hourglass because I felt it made more sense and is actually something Darkstalker enchanted.

How do dragons dance? I have no idea.

Sketched out a test scene of Darkstalker and Clearsight dancing for a map I’m making, so this is sort of a sneak peek!

For clarification Clearsight is under a spell for most of the map, and so this scene isn’t really one of love but more of Darkstalker’s manipulation.

Taipan and Platypus!!

Spoilers for book 16 below.

I honestly didn’t know what to expect for The Hybrid Prince. It had a slow start for me in the beginning but I really enjoyed it at the end. I am most excited for what comes next, the ending really caught me off guard!

WildWings were not what I was expecting when I heard there was going to be a new tribe, but I think they’re a good choice since we sort of get a look into the past and future of what dragons look like. I wonder if Freedom counts as a WildWing? I’d love to hear any theories/ thoughts.

Also, BLOB IS BACK YAYY!!!!

Although the way I sketched her makes her look a bit older, so maybe future Snowfall?

Fluffy Blue! I wanted to try a different style and experiment with his design a little bit. I think the more butterfly-based look suits him.

Although he isn’t my favorite character, I found him to be an interesting antagonist and I wished we got more scenes with him.

The tribe is not confirmed by the way. I saw that Tui liked the idea of a tribe called WebWings, and so I wanted to draw what I think they might look like.

In honor of Valentine’s Day, I drew Sunstreak and Clearsight!

I wanted to sketch Darkstalker’s design from the upcoming graphic novel as I really love the colors and art style!

I can’t wait for the book to be released, and I am excited to see how Fathom, Whiteout, and Clearsight look in this art style.
