“Thanks, I’ll need a lot of it. I don’t really have a choice, my parents aren’t in town so it’s my responsibility to not leave his side at all.”

“That I can understand, maybe being around a small baby will actually help keep me sober.”

"Wait have you been drinking too much again? And yeah, this will definitely help both of us."

“All the coffee is on me, fine.” He replied with a roll of his eyes. “Well…not all of them. I still have the one my aunt gave me, also the green one I got on my birthday. Okay fine, I have like a bunch of them still there.”

“Thank God, I’m buying your entire life’s worth of coffee.” She smiled, feigning innocence. “Did you throw away any of them? Connor you are a fashion minor, I know you know better.” She shook her head before giving a soft chuckle. “I saw some gorgeous tops when I was out earlier this week, we can see if they work for you.”

"Go ahead, but I won't have anything to gift you for Christmas." He commented with a wink. "Well, sorta. Look I know I know, I hardly wear them outside but some of them are too memorable to give away. Oh I'd definitely be down for that. I also would love for you to help me pick something for Cara for Christmas."

“Eggnog.” Connor said with a slight slur as he helped himself to another long sip. “It’s amaaazing.”

“This is far too strong to be eggnog.” Lucas giggled, finishing the glass.

"I mean it's not just eggnogg." He said cheekily with a slur. "Maybe mixed with alcohol."

“Don’t take me wrong babe but that outfit is so last year.”

“Well would you prefer I took it off?” Cara retorted before her eyes widened as she realised what she said “-Oh, I um- that’s - uh- not what I meant..”

"Did you just-" Connor broke into a fit of uncontrollable laughter. "As much as I would love for you to, we're in a public place."

“You aren’t, trust me.” Connor laughed as she draped the tinsel around him. “Give me a wig and some makeup and I’d be a perfect drag queen.”

“Oh I am, you have extremely bad taste.” She teased, before laughing, “Well, I can easily do your makeup.”

"Says you." He stuck his tongue out at her. "Go on, I'm not stopping you."

“Who knows, might be one of your little tricks.”

“Why do you do anything for a legitimate reason is my question.” He smirked.

Dear Lucas,

I want to start off by saying that you’ve been an amazing friend through all the obstacles we’ve come across and I’m thankful for you and your awkward self. Knowing how much you like Deadpool, I decided it was only appropriate to get you this sweater. Also another ornament to hang up your tree ;)

“Not fair, I want to be pretty and adorable as well.” He pouted before breaking into a chuckle. “For the week actually. My parents are off to Greece so they thought it would be nice to leave Brent with me.”

“You can be, just need to put a little blush here and maybe some purple eyeshadow. That’d definitely convince people.” Astrid teased, unable to keep a straight face. “That’s nice of you, to let them go and have a vacation. If you ever need someone to help, let me know.”

“When I’m taking advice from you, you know I’ve gone crazy.” He joked with a laugh. “They make their own choices anyways, I distanced myself from them a long time ago. And thank you, I’ll need it.”

“I’m not sure, maybe she did and I didn’t pay attention. We haven’t got to that point in our relationship yet, we’re taking it slow. For now, we just share the bed instead of me sleeping on the couch.”

“How can you not pay attention to me? Well how boring, you better not wait too long, otherwise you’re going to get bored. Trust me.”

Connor merely rolled his eyes, best it was to not answer. “Don’t worry Spence, I’m not going to take relationship tips from you.”

“You’re so adorable” Connor laughed as he brought a giant box of decorations and plopped it on the floor. “Let’s start decorating this tree, shall we?”

“No, I’m awkward.” Cara pulled a face, “Oooh yes.” She pulled out tinsel, draping it around him. “Fab.”

"You aren't, trust me." Connor laughed as she draped the tinsel around him. "Give me a wig and some makeup and I'd be a perfect drag queen."

“Hey, it’s okay. I’m just glad you’re safe and back now.”

“I mean, I was always safe, now I just know m bothers are, too,” she smiled. “How have things been?”

"That's good to hear. I know how much you love them." He returned a small smile. "Things have been going quite interesting but mostly good."
