Man I'm seeing all the previews and interviews for the next episode of wynonna earp and starting to get a bit nervous. Considering I finish a 14 hour night shift just before the episode airs maybe I should have a nap first otherwise I'm going to be very emotionally unstable.

You know its a good show when you’re left stunned, scared and excited by an episode, and then you watch the next weeks promo and those feelings are blown way out of proportion.

Also, I think I’m the only one out there that isn’t hating on Waverly right now. Yea some shit went down, I physically cringed when she kissed Rosita and threw my water bottle at my TV...   But it sure is making for some hella good story telling and I am psyched to see what happens next!!!

My Saturday night (now that I have watched the latest ep of Wynonna Earp) has involved me drunkenly stumbling through the never ending rabbit hole that is youtube, and finding this flash back.

I was 17, I was a year into my University degree and doubting whether I could be a Paramedic or not. I hated who I was, I was ready to quit and transfer to a music ed degree (and spend the rest of my life teaching primary schoolers how to torture me trying to play an instrument) ... And then this angel came into my life.

Suddenly life was ok. This perfectly imperfect music changed me. I could do it, because no one is ever perfect. Sia is the embodiment of being beaten up, chewed up and spat out, and getting up to be better then ever.

8 years later and I have been a qualified Paramedic for over 5 years, I love my job, and I love teaching those 17 year old students how to love it too.

Its nice to go back to where you were and remember.
