No no no, I asked why Thomas would not make it gay, not if he would just bamboozle us in general. I know that they do not go by headcanons created by the fandom. But they also dont do things just because the fandom expects they're going to. So explain to me why, for the pure sake of debunking our theories, Thomas Sanders would not make his series gayer than it already is.
A what-if situation unfolds when Roman hurts his throat.
âHey, what is up everybody-â Said Thomas, as he gladly started up the newest episode of Sanders Sides. Everything seemed normal, at the very least. Patton had popped up first, signalling that the episode may be as cheery as the light blue side was. Then, as more and more sides show, surprisingly, Roman was the last to show up.
âSorry Iâm late! I was practicing some vocals that I finally feel like Iâm capable of doing!â
âThatâs great, Roman, show us what youâve got!â Thomas cheered, Patton and Logan sharing skeptical looks.
âEr, I donât suppose itâs the one where you havenât exactly hit the high note, right? I assure you, if you have been practicing that one, you would have certainly damaged your vocal cords right about now.â
âAnd the clavicle!â
âThe clavicleâs a bone, Patton, not a muscle.â
âOh!â
âPsh, donât worry. Iâll be fiiiiine-, oh, ow.â The fanciful side rubbed at his throat, trying to numb the pain.
âWhat, Princey, frog crawled in your throat while you were tryna kiss it?â The wisecrack Virgil murmured was in actuality a vocal concern.
âNo, of course not-. . . good gracious talking hurts.â
âDo you need a lozenge, Roman?â Logan asked, quirking up a brow.
âNo, no, Iâm good, I can deal with the pain! Iâm strong, Iâm strong.â
Thatâs when Thomas stepped in. âRoman, maybe we should take you to a doctor.â
âWhaaaaaaaaaat? No way, Thomas. I can handle this on my own. Watch this: I am a question to the world-ow!â Romanâs voice cracked before he could even finish the songâs bar.
âYikes, kiddo. Maybe we should see a doctor. This might hurt Thomas in the long run, too.â
âI absolutely agree. We canât have you hurting yourself even further.â
âWell, I for one think heâs fine.â Spat âVirgilâ, his concern having left the building.Â
A collective gasp filled the room. âVirgil, Romanâs hurt! Kiddo, how can you not see tha-?â
A small smirk appeared on the âanxiousâ sideâs face. âYou guys just need to toughen up a bit! Luckily, Iâm here to help with that.â A snap of his fingers, âVirgilâsâ attire changed from his usual hoodie and ripped jeans to sweatpants, a rustic orange hooded sweat-shirt and a whistle. Even his eyeshadow changed, the two dark circles of it replaced with eye black.
âSurprise! Remember me? How was my acting, was it any good?â Whoever this was seemed about happy that his acting like Virgil at the very least fooled the others for the time being.
âOh, great. Not another dark side!â Roman whined, before coughing. Man, his throat sure did hurt.
âHm? You guys really donât remember me, do ya? After all that trouble Virgil caused when he left mustâve made ya forget!â A happy chuckle.
âHow do you know about Virgilâs past absence?â Logan asked, a brow raised. Obviously, the man was pointing fingers at this strange character before he actually got to know him.
âWell, I kiiiiiinda sorta filled in for him when he left! I mustâve done a good job. You didnât even notice!âÂ
âOh, we noticed, alright. Thomasâ loss of evasion, his carelessness, that was all because of you?â
âYup!â
Roman then coughs again.
âYo, he sounds sick. Cool!â
âUh, hi! Iâm Patton. Mr. Morality here! I donât think weâve met before!â Patton flails his hands around to get the other manâs attention.
âYeah! What. . . what Patton said.â Where exactly did Thomas get that Trail Mix, and why is he stuffing it in his mouth?
âOh, oh! You wanna know who I am? Letâs play a game to guess!â The man clad in orange looked around at the three remaining light sides and Thomas, eventually pointing at Logan with a grin.
âTwenty jumping jacks and youâll get to know who I am!â
âThatâs . . . a bit much, donât you think?â
âWe have a right to know who he is, right Loga-. . .â Loud cough from Roman.Â
âFine, fine.â Logan began his jumping jacks, already winded by his fourth. This gave the so called âdark sideâ a chuckle.
âAw, donât be such a baby. Virgilâs made all of you soft! Especially you, Thomas.â
The loud crunch, crunch of trail mix.
âThis is why Braveryâs here to stay.â
Immediately, the dark-blue side stopped his jumping jacks, a weakened gasp before he spoke. âHow. . . how in the world?â
