Potential Mother/Daughter, Mother/Child Dynamics - Moon in the 12th house
The 12th house Moon can reflect an "infantile mother" who embodies the absence of an integrated mother archetype. The 12th house dissolves boundaries, and in this case, it dissolves the structured presence of a mother into something elusive—she is there, but not there. She may be lost in her own world, spiritually preoccupied, emotionally evasive, or consumed by the needs of others.
The 12th House Moon can conjure the image of a mother who rescues, saves, and recovers others while her own child remains in emotional limbo. It creates this haunting contradiction—the child, growing up in the presence of someone who seems to have healing abilities, wonders why they still feel abandoned, unseen, or unhealed. There’s no jealousy, just a deep existential confusion: If she is a savior, why wasn’t I saved?
The 12th house Moon often suggests that the mother is struggling with her own unfinished emotional business—whether karmic, psychological, or simply beyond language.
This isn't just a mother who is emotionally elusive, but one whose entire life can be out of order, chaotic, lacking boundaries, and consuming in a way that makes the child feel swallowed up rather than nurtured.
A mother like this could be so preoccupied with her own emotional states, spiritual fixations, or constant need for external validation that her child becomes an extension of her instability rather than a distinct individual. She might collect stray animals, broken people, lost causes—anything to fill the void within her—yet her own home, her own child, remains neglected in some fundamental way.
The lack of boundaries is key. This could manifest in the mother oversharing her problems, confiding in the child as if they are a therapist or emotional caretaker. She may become excessively dependent on the child, flipping traditional roles so that the child feels responsible for her well-being. The house itself might feel like a physical representation of her psyche—disordered, overflowing, drowning in excess, yet devoid of real security.
For the child, this creates a paradox: they may feel unseen in their own suffering but hyper-visible as an extension of their mother’s dysfunction. The world outside might view the mother as eccentric, spiritual, generous, or “just a free spirit,” but inside, the child experiences something entirely different—a mother who is present but not maternal, a figure who demands more from them than she provides.
This kind of mother-child relationship can lead to feelings of emotional entrapment. The child grows up feeling guilty for wanting independence, guilty for not being able to “fix” their mother, and deeply confused about their own emotional needs. In adulthood, they may struggle with personal boundaries, feeling simultaneously drawn to chaos and repelled by it. They might also develop a complex relationship with caretaking—either compulsively rescuing others like their mother did, or rejecting emotional dependency altogether.
The imagery of a house filled with too many animals, clutter, unfinished projects, and unchecked impulses is perfect for this type of 12th house Moon mother. It’s the embodiment of an unconscious world spilling into the physical, with no separation between inner and outer chaos.

Hey boothangs!!! This is a quick post about how to customize your oils. I tried to be as explanatory as possible in each item description on Etsy but my inbox is still bombarded with quite a few repetitive questions that I feel I have already answered but I digress...
I make Spiritual Oils. This ain’t Macy’s perfume dept yarl - please stop asking me for samples. These oils are for conjuring purposes - you can dress candles with them, ancestor money, petitions, jar work, put drops inside of your shoes, your spiritual bath, anoint your door frames, doorknobs & bed frames , or anoint your crystals. I personally don’t use a lot, depending upon what I’m doing I either use 3,4,5,6,7,8 or 9 drops at a time. Some ppl speak into their bottles to add the vibrations of their voice & intentions.
With Come Hither, you can tie a strand of hair to your partners &place them in the bottle. You can even print out two tiny pics of both of you, face them towards each other, bind them together with red thread (wrap it TOWARDS you), tie it in an even number of knots &put that in the bottle. Write petitions, prayers, specific intentions, etc, &put them inside. Use your discretion & your imagination!!! There is no one size fits all when it comes to magic. How do you think your ancestors came up with certain rituals &customs? They CHANNELED them. They DREAMED about them. They were TAUGHT from family or an initiated elder. Or they were LED by their ancestors. If you were led to purchase my oils then you already KNOW how to use them. Just allow yourself to REMEMBER.
I hope this helps!!! Happy conjuring yarl!!!

Leos when Virgo Season commences (and during any other time of the year in general):
I’m not a classicist, but I suspect one of the reasons so many of the Greek gods are portrayed so unflatteringly was less because they were seen as villains than because they represented their domains. Of course Zeus sometimes misuses his power, that’s what a king does. Of course Artemis’s wrath is wild and painful, that’s what nature can be. Of course Hades snatched away a young girl from her mother’s arms, that’s what death does. This is one of the reasons callout posts for some gods comparing them negatively to ‘nicer’ gods are kind of missing the point.
as someone who is partially a classicist, this is a better analysis of Greek mythology as a whole than 99.95% of the takes I’ve seen on here (and a substantial number of the takes I’ve seen in ~academia~)
