Hi I'm Copper-caster or Cu, this is a side blog so when i send asks i usually sign em with some variation of Cu_🐗 or my @

I'm quite a forgetful person so if i forget specific things about your AUs or Squicks when sending asks please be forgiving & know I'm not being malicious, I know it can be annoying trust me i have to live with my stupid brain every day

I use they/them & it/its pronouns but really prefer if ya just use my pseudonyms

This blog is intended as a place for me to keep my whump & kinky multi-fandom musings tho atm its mostly valveplug aka transformers fandom 🍋 however i have a tendency to fast-queue stuff so i might accidentally reblog unrelated content here 😅

In terms of my own Squicks i find things are very situational/flexible as I've found stuff that's usually a Squick for me is fine when it's valveplug or done tastefully but I'd prefer if no one send me any asks involving excrement or public misunderstanding based humiliation

i know things are hella grim in the nsfw/kink art circles especially in the last year --

but I'm hearing there's a NSFW-friendly ko-fi alternative built on atproto that's actively in the works, and being vetted by lawyers right now. as torrent-princess (OP) says, you should be able to swap out payment processors while keeping your account intact. this matters since even if stripe removes support, you'll still have a shop and all of your links intact. (ATproto is an infrastructure that bsky is built on, but is far bigger than bsky with far more opportunities.)

additionally, the Free Speech Coalition is working on a credit union specifically for adult work (including kink art) - here's the link so you can add your interest & support. Since this will be built by sex workers, there'll be far less risk of being debanked for spurious and puritanical reasons.

on a domain TLD level, there's an initiative here for a .furry domain built from the ground up by seasoned furries; it's unclear whether they'll support NSFW, but it's yet another promising turn of events for a group that's been similarly affected by censorship.

there are friends and allies out there helping to build a working parallel infrastructure. keep being vocal, keep supporting these initiatives when it's possible, and keep supporting your nsfw/kink artists. ♥

I put out a post over there asking for links to ppl's digital & physical zines / doujinshi since I saw funeralpigeon's posts about doing zine trades & decided I wanted to start a collection

Playing around with the idea of a transformers star wars crossover

Thinking about a transformer with a shuttle / starship alt who has to stay in altmode due to having a hyberdrive installed, they primarily interact with others through their holoform

If they transform back to root the hyperdrive ejects itself because the foreign isn't designed to be able to transform so drastically

Most smaller starships use a hyperdrive loop/coupler thingy whatever they're called that the jedi Starfighters used but it'd be very odd for a ship of shuttle size to use one so it immediately marks them as a cybertronian to anyone aware of the species existence

Crucially they'd probably be able to assume similar ship alts since they would be moving around the hyperdrive but there'd be a limit & a risk to it

One of my most favorite concepts i've encountered about Cybertronian biology is that they simply can't masturbate. Interfaces are soft and Cybertronian fingers are hard metal, it's just unpleasant.

What's more, Cybertron itself doesn't really have any soft materials, so they can't make toys to do it with either. This assumes that both intakes and interfaces are made of protoform, so simply making toys out of the same material as those isn't an option.

This is a way to justify the absurd horniness that Transformers are often written with in fanfics. Their willingness to bang even enemy faction members stems from the simple fact that they're all really desperate to get laid and have to take whatever they can get.

I see this and all I can think is "there will be some wild solutions here"
