During the Wildcat vs. Trojan game Faser is being an absolute asshole to Jeremy, checking him way to hard, shoving his racket into the other man gut, and eventually Jeremy asks to be taken off until next half. Jean is of course livid, but he signed a contract, so without permission he can’t get out of line. Despite knowing this, he turns to Coach and asks “permission to beat the living shit out of Faser?” Rhemann pauses for a moment, and looks over at where Jeremy is winching in pain, then leans into Jean’s ear and says “granted.”

Jeremy’s habit of trying to solve his problems with sex still carries over into his relationship with Jean. the difference is that Jean can always tell when Jeremy’s heated kisses don’t match the truth in his eyes. so what might have become a night spent tangled up in each other instead turns into an evening of quiet conversations and barely audible sobs, with Jeremy curled against Jean’s chest while Jean patiently listens to everything he’s been trying not to say.

Only just realised that Rhemann absolutely did not have to pull Jeremy from practice when he collected Jean to sign for his car. He did that because he knew Jean wasn’t comfortable with him and bringing Jeremy meant he wasn't forcing Jean to be alone with him.

For the Olympics, Neil, Andrew, Jeremy, Kevin, and Jean end up on the same team for the first time. Everything is fine at first, until Neil, Kevin, and Jeremy start fighting over Jean’s attention. They argue about who gets to sit with him on the bus, who shares a room with him, who does interviews with him…

And somehow, despite all of that, the person who ends up with Jean in every single situation is Andrew, just so he can piss everyone else off (also because he’s become inexplicably fond of him and ofc he won't admit it).
