A primary piece in the LEAGUE, KUROGIRI is oftentimes targeted by others, be it Pro Heroes, vigilantes, or simply other villains. After all, what could they do were they to lose their only method of quick, almost instantaneous, transport?
It’s precisely the reason he finds himself bobbing and weaving through obstacles he encounters on the way, uncertain whether or not his pursuer was in tow, but certainly unwilling to stop and check. After slipping through a small clutter of young adults waiting to get into some club next door, he ducks into an alley– one he initially anticipated to be empty– to lose whomever had been following him and sighs in relief.
It isn’t until he looks up towards the other end of the alleyway does he spot the man up against the wall. He isn’t quick enough to see him adjust his gloves, but he does recognize that strange beak in his silhouette.
Enough to make him uncomfortable.
Rather than stick around, or strike up conversation, he attempts to leave without conflict, eyes forward. His shoulders are forced to remain slack as he passes the other man by, intent on passage without detection, however slim his chances.
Eyes narrow, his head tipping to one side. He watches silently as the other male walks beside him before his lips part under his mask. When he speaks, it’s low and quiet, as if not to startle the other.
“You. Are you in trouble?”
Gloves are slowly placed back onto his hands, hesitating slightly before reaching out and gently resting on the other’s shoulder. He kept his touch light, nonthreatening. Kai was normally never this kind to those in the League. There was never a point to being nice since their first meeting went a bit...sour. However, Kurogiri was still a villain.
They should stick together. So Kai supposes that he could help the other out. “Who are they? What do they look like.” Might as well eleminate them, no?
“I can be of some assistance.”
