I think it would've been funny if they had written Katherine's pregnancy in. Wynonna shows up and is shocked to see her pregnant as Waverly wanted it to be a surprise, Wynonna trying to figure out who was the sperm donor ("look Nedley, I get you'd do anything for Nicole, but really, jerking into a cup?"
