Okay, bear with me here for the laughs, but since Wonder Con was a while ago I gotta ask for the sillies… How would the Sokyo X characters be like in Disneyland? Like, they’re going for the first time. What rides/foods would they try? How would their experience be?

I'm not super familiar with Disneyland. For the main squad, I think they'd enjoy it. Mac would probably be the most enthusiastic about rides, and Shano would begrudgingly agree to partake with him.

Since they're familiar with more advanced tech on a daily basis, they'd find less wonder and spectacle, and consider it more quaint. Robin would be the only one to see it as a corporate facade designed to provide surface pleasure in exchange for money. Though, she'd pretty much only comment about how the animatronics and tech is poorly designed and how she would have done it better.

Senshiro and Tori would stick together and find all the same things enjoyable, finding the few rides they enjoy and going on them multiple times. Their overall experience would be determined by how much money they have (like how it is for us). Most of them grew up with little money and would make the best of what they could, like finding the cheapest meal and sharing that.

How old are the Sokyo X characters? I always guessed they were in their early twenties but I could be wrong

Yup, I'd say mostly in their twenties. Though, health tech is very good. Most people are born GMO, and vaccines and preventive care are astronomically better than ours. Without any vanity mods, somebody 40 could be mistaken for a 20 year old.

Question. How do you feel about fanart? Would you like to see fanart of your characters? Is it okay for people to make fanart?

Of course, if you like something enough to do fanart, do it. Nobody can stop you from making fanart of what you love. I guess if it's NSFW or offensive, it'd be polite to ask if it's ok before posting it.

Unfortunately, my socials game is weak and I don't have that big of a following, so I won't be able to reblog it far. But I'd love to see it myself!

Out of pure curiosity, had any of the Sokyo X crew (And I use this term loosely since there’s so many characters, for the sake of simplicity we can say Senshrio, Tori, Mac, and Shano) had a home cooked meal? Look at the setting it looks like they might have not. If they have, what’s their favorite? If not, how would they react to being served a home cooked meal? These poor guys need a break.

They've all had home cooked meals! Interstellar carriers (like the SMFS Forefront) have galleys, which are much more advanced than what we have in our world. In fact, so much of humanity's culture and industry is focused on interstellar travel and expansion, the quality of preserved, modified, hyper-grown, recycled, and fabricated food is exceptional! There's lots of competition between the conglomerates, leading to some incredible developments - but also cut corners, disparity, and inequality.

Our Sokyo X pilots are soldiers, and in tough times, premade rations - usually in the form of compact nutrition bars - are eaten for long periods. These come up twice: in Chapter 2 - When Senshiro is late to a briefing (these taste pretty good, but not great if it's for every meal), and Chapter 6 - "Prim UAP command rations". Command gets high quality rations, and these are "premium", so extremely tasty.

But, to answer your questions, Senshiro and Kitojiro weren't affluent kids (seen briefly in panel 1 of Chap 3). They then grew up in UAP and SMF (military) schools at various stations and planets. Each of the squad'd have different comfort foods unique to these places, and crave them as they'd likely never have those foods again. 

They're not deprived of high quality food, and they'd likely be as delighted as we are in the various times we have a special home cooked meal. Mac would be the most enthusiastic. Unfortunately, they say a meal is only as good as the people you share it with; and for many of these characters, they'll miss their closest friends and family.

Hey, hope you’re having a good evening/morning/afternoon!! I read your Sokyo X comics and loved every bit of it!! I especially loved the mech designs and fell in love with the characters!! I just wanted to know, is it okay for people to send you asks about your characters? Whether it be from mundane to absolute wacky and outlandish. I love asking about characters and getting to know them more but I wanted to run it by you and hopefully have others know it’s alright to ask!!
