Connor sighed, shifting some papers around in front of him at the bench he was sat at. The world’s justice system may be up in the air right now, but he still wanted to pursue a career in law. “That’s the last time I try to study outdoors when the weather’s nice. All I can hear is screaming children.”
“I know, right? Can they just grow the hell up already?” Cosima laughed, sympathising deeply with the frustration. “You, uh… tried some weed? If you get the real good kind, you tend to stop noticing the background noise.”
