I don’t think I’ve ever made a secret of this, but my favorite Marvel heroine is Storm, by a long shot. I love a lot of their female characters, particularly quite a few X-men, but Storm is the one. She has a bunch of qualities that I think make her a potential smash hit character.

I've talked this one over with my buddies before, and I think we pretty much came to the conclusion that Storm is the closest thing to a Wonder Woman in the Marvel universe. You could maybe make an argument for Scarlet Witch or Miss Marvel, but in a "mainstream" sense, I think Storm is the most well-known. Sadly, if you run down the list any further, the characters get more and more obscure. Somehow I can name a lot more significant DC characters off the top of my head than I can with Marvel, but I'm a DC person. Instantly I go to Wonder Woman, Batgirl, Catwoman, Harley Quinn, Poison Ivy, Zatanna, Supergirl, Raven, Hawkgirl. Most fo the Marvel characters I could come up with would either be X-Men (Rogue, Jean Grey, etc.) or Sue Storm.

Captain Lewis has been outspoken against the NYPD’s wrongful use of violence against peaceful protesters.
From what I have seen, Ray Lewis’ conduct defines honor, bravery, and dignity.

It’s proved impossible for me to get this shot of former Philadelphia Police Cpt. Ray Lewis being arrested, published anywhere. I was adamantly rebuffed by the Philadelphia Inquirer, NYT, local NY papers, and Newsweek, before even looking at the photograph. Not one to glorify uniforms, but this is a unique image that isn’t getting any play. For those people who think this is the only way to do policing, that they’re just doing their jobs, there are cops who think differently. And they get arrested too.
