anyone remember how jealous we were of haypasia at the time ahjskdjf

jokes aside, i really liked this exchange bc it contrasts so starkly to how their relationship was in the past! before, haypasia was just a follower bc scara made her that way, but now, he's genuinely asking her questions and getting to know her as a person. he's forming connections naturally now instead of forcing them.

Are genshin characters in universe aware that their visions embody traits that are reflected in their archon? Not only the core traits (freedom, contracts, eternity, wisdom, justice, and war) but also traits such as hardworking-ness or drive (geo), curiosity (dendro), passion (pyro), etc. and even the joke about anemo vision-havers always loosing someone/something?

Me rambling about visions below ↓

Do people loose someone, wake up with an anemo vision, and realize that their loss has been grieved by lord barbatos himself? Do people hold onto their pyro visions and realize that their passion or journey has been blessed by haborym and so must be fated for them? You get the idea…

Furthermore, I wonder if being in the domain of your vision-provided feels any different. I know this was kinda brought up some in the summer event, but I felt that was more about leylines, so idk where to count that… I think it makes sense, though— closer to the god who gifted you a sliver of their own power, closer you get stronger.

Do people wish for specific visions, or ever get disappointed in their visions or powers? Like. Cutie-mark style… not in a way that they don’t want any vision, but they want a different one.

Also, how come no one talks abt how fucked up it is that visions are kinda soul-gem (Madoka Magica) style and that loosing them makes you loose … all your willpower and even memories etc.? I want more info about that. I want a vision-holder who’s scared of the fact that their soul is bound to a little item that can easily be stolen and kept away.

Some of this is legit lore questions and some of this is me musing about how I would make the concept of having a vision more interesting and unique. I want to see the stress and fear that comes with new elemental power coursing through someone’s body. I want to see the physical inability or struggle to direct this new magic. I want to see someone who trained their whole life for a hydro vision, only to end up with a geo one.

Sagau thoughts

I wanna yap about the sagau stories that I have cooking up, so bad! But, I decided to be patient until I finish a few chapters before yapping away about it.

I'll mention a little though.

One features Dahlia as a main character. This one is for Cult Au, yes I know some of you are tired of it. Trust me, it's gonna be a long fic series. (For those that are curious)

One is about Razor, but anyone who's peaked at it, prob has already seen it.

The one with Dahlia is going to be the longest. But, it should be out... hopefully before the end of the year?

Possibly Act 1.

Not to mention, I have to re do Sentient. (Self Aware Au! story about talking to the characters and Travelling with them.)

Reasons to keep writing

Someone will get super invested in your story and stay up all night reading it.

Someone will be inspired by your work, write something of their own, then sheepishly message you asking how to write as well as you do.

Someone will re-read your story every month or two because nothing captures the same vibe to them.

Someone will get excited every time they see your username pop up because there's a chance it means you wrote more.

Y'know that sense of empty sadness you get whenever you finish a REALLY good book/movie/etc? Someone's gonna feel that for your story.

Someone will draw fanart of your characters (or if you're writing fanfiction, fanart inspired by your interpretation of the source material).

Someone who loves your work will recommend it to a friend. Now another someone will fall in love with your writing.

Someone will want to reach through the screen and give your characters a hug SO BAD.

Someone will come back to your story whenever they're sad because it comforts them.

Because it makes you happy.

I do find it funny for the lack of Genshin x Zelda fics, considering Sumeru and it's Aranara quest is literally any Zelda game?

You save the Princess who is a reincarnation of a Goddess and has a Patron God, that being the Goddess of Wisdom.

Aranara are heavily inspired by Koroks.

Cyno is a bit inspired by Riju

Dehya w Urbosa a little.

Layla isn't fully a ref by looking Hylian and having the triforce tbh. Unless she's some how a reference to Papaya which I doubt.

Only difference is the Akademiya. Even the Desert Natives feel Gerudo-ish enough. Like the Oot versions.

Since no one is gonna do these Aus, I will. (The comparision to Zelda is what got me stuck in Genshin's bubble after all!)

Genshin wise feels from Natlan, and seems like a Ley line echo from days long past. Someone from a losy Naltanese tribe. She reeks of a Potential World Quest.(Could she be from a Natlanese lost clan, sure?)

Could she also be a Sumerian girl, sure!

Vision: Anemo

These three Irrc are the Golden Goddesses in Human form?

She feels Natlanese or Sumerian. Someone who is from a tribe of Natlan or a child from a tribe of the Desert folk. (

Is a distant relative of someone from Fontaine.

An oceanid banned from ever returning to Fontaine.

Farore

A relative to the Dendro Archon. She stays with the Aranara, rarely coming out the woods to visit the city.

Is Deemed as a local legend within Sumeru, as the current generation has rarely seen her.

Is the minor goddess of courage and heroics!

The following weeks for Scaramouche were terrible. His plans to become a god were ruined by the almighty traveller.

The Fatui, namely Dottore left him to rot and Haypaisa didn’t even bat an eye at him after his defeat.

The hollow walls of the building the two of you once shared reflects the emptiness of his the place where his heart was supposed to be.

The worst part is you’re gone and it was all his fault. He thought he didn’t need you anymore. He didn’t need a personal so emotional to hinder him in his route to godhood. He didn’t need someone he could potentially endanger. He didn’t need to have someone who makes his chest bleed everytime he sees them hurt. He didn’t need someone who makes him feel so vulnerable. He didn’t need someone who makes him feel so human.

Guilt was gnawing at him now. The emptiness you left upon him was larger than he anticipated. He thought it would be worth it to set you free from his mommy issues, but was it worth it after all? 

He wants to find you and tell you that he didn’t mean all the words he said, all the hurtful things he did.

But it was too late. 

No matter how much he longs for you to come back and tell him for everything that he did and his words never impacted you with that radiant smile you always wore, you looked so happy with that Liyue bastard. 

Perhaps in another life, free from the shackles of his responsibilities, the persona he had created, and the titles he bore, he could love you wholeheartedly.

“I’m so sorry y/n. I know my apology means nothing, I know I can’t take back the pain I inflicted onto you. But this ache is too much to bear. Every time I wake up, the bed feels too cold without your warmth. The kitchen is gathering dust with no one needing food. The cabinet on the floor remains untouched with all your favourite snacks inside. I can’t do this, everywhere I go, I see your face, it’s like the ghost of you haunts me and you’re not even dead. Well I’m probably dead to you anyway, but I just want you to know, if there ever comes a day you want to reminisce, or if that green emo guy breaks your heart, I will be in the husk of our home. Exciting news for my Sagau Dahlia story!

The full series is upon us!

It has become more fleshed out and has surprised me. I think those of you who follow the series will enjoy it. It's become more of an x reader and more of a yume and canon interaction.

The series is called:  Resignation and Defiance.

the official name of this series is: The strange entries of the Ratnik and Traveler Rii.

0.5 Some entries need to be redone. So don't take the entries as the final product.

This series is tied to Sagau Dahlia's story.

Originally I had no plan of tying this to the orignial story, but after consideration, it now is.

The entries are out of order in the timeline of the story, and at the end of the month will go on hiatus until the beginning of the series is done.

Sagau Dahlia series is called "Resignation and Defiance."

The story tied to these entries are more than just random characters thrown in.

After I start the main story, the last entry before Hiatus may be next month.

Reupload! Imagine: Sagau! Reader but Hoyoverse erases you

"Your grace." Your beloved acolytes surrounded you gifts in hand. You have been the creator of Teyvat ever since a very an incident that landed you in Mondstadt. Amber found you and you've been in charge ever since.

As usual, you spend time with your favorite characters as much as you can. Spending time with Kaveh, going to library dates with Alhaitham, visiting Inazuma and being around Kamisato siblings. The acolytes the ones you play with frequently are always close like a flame drawn to a moth. Your older acolytes you don't travel with still visit you rarely, some holds grudges missing the days they spent with you.

"Yes?" Kaveh approached followed by Mehrak. A blueprint was in his other hand along with some other tools.

"Ahem. If you're okay with it,I have a few ideas for your house." The archons never gave you a palace or anything expensive. You who came from humble backgrounds claimed that they owers you nothing.

Ever since they you've been staying with different characters until your house was built. Alhaitham was skeptical but eventually allowed you to stay, as long as you wouldn't cause him trouble.

"Let's see it." You took a hold of the blueprint as a bright light filled your sight.

Looking up, you see the Paimon screen open looking different from the one you had previously as a genshin player. A cursor moves around clicking on the character screen. The background changed, a whooshing sound chimed as the cursor kept moving around characters who were released and some who were not released as playable yet. They stop when they click on you. The cursor moves you onto the character screen.

The person on the other side muttered as they checked your artifacts and your other information. They went back and forth checking it until they stopped on your face.

They started at you for a moment before looking behind them. Another person walked into the line sight of the screen. They glanced at you and your affiliation, gnosis and other information pages.

"Who are you?" You mumble as they look towards each other talking occasionally glancing your direction. This goes on for awhile until the second person walks off screen again.

You sigh hoping they would exit the menu to take you back. A sharp pain filled your veins as you begin crying out. Talking to your knees you look around trying to stop what was causing the pain. Looking down your legs and arms begin to disintegrate. Looking up you see a button in red being pressed.

"Want to Delete (Character Name)?"
