Privates on parade?

Here we see the good-minded face of Councillor Roger Copping who has been raising concern about two Australian men who spent two hours manipulating their private parts in front of a crowd in Leamington Spa.

The so-called entertainment is called Puppetry of the P***s and is apparently done as some form of student humour. A clearly exasperated Councillor Copping said: "This is Royal Leamington Spa!"

Rhythm and booze

Here we see concern on the face of Councillor George Kemp whose position as landlord of a Carlisle pub has been under attack from the police.

Councillor Kemp, who is also organiser of the Unofficial Giant Vegetable World Championships, has been accused of being "unfit" to run the Lifeboat Inn.

The claims against him are related to a blues event which was held at the establishment and include:

A mass brawl involving between 20 and 25 people.

An allegation that Councillor Kemp was drunk by 8pm, and shouted at police who were trying to sort out a large fight.

A claim that pub staff in beer tent outside the pub gave away free beer.

Reports of youths rolling pub beer barrels down local streets and damaging a neighbour’s car.

The evidence brought before a licensing panel also included a video film in which police say Councillor Kemp can be seen swearing at a Chief Inspector and accusing him of making a fool of himself.

Here we see a rather distressing film in which Bill Oddie reveals the appalling state of his "garden". It is sad to see a true talent of British broadcasting reduced to these unfortunate circumstances.

Pumpkin smashers

Here we see the distressing image of children sat in front of a pumpkin which has been savagely attacked by yobs. A spokeswoman for the nursery in Bicester where the attack took place said: “They are all very upset”.

Here we have an excellent action shot of Councillor Jake Morrison, pictured left, expressing himself with a bongo drum. This young Wavertree councillor has become a regular star of CoGB with his all-action approach to council work.

Here we see a young councillor who obviously has what it takes for a long and successful career in local government representation. Whilst the spirit shines bright it has to be noted that the speech would have benefited from rather more pre-planning and structure but there is plenty of time for these skills to be developed.

Here we have an excellent film of three old girls singing a song about wheelie bins for Wigan Council.

Here we have a truly inspirational film featuring Councillor Dave Walker of Fife Council who demonstrates the use of Highland dance in the workplace.

This is an excellent initiative and Councillor Walker deserves a great deal of credit but, on a less savoury note, one must draw attention to the spelling error which is contained in the title sequence. This is really not a good example to be setting.

Pop idiot attacks councillor

Here we see the smug face of the pop star who has launched a savage verbal attack on a Staines councillor.

He is a rather obnoxious and talentless young man called Richard Arthur and he is the lead singer of a pop group who call themselves the Hard Fi.

He spewed forth his bile against Staines councillor Collin David in what appears to be a tawdry attempt to gain publicity for his group's latest poorly selling record album.

During an interview with Sky news he said:

"It's funny how that councillor that came out never answers emails or letters and all of a sudden there's an opportunity for a front page in the local paper and he's right there defending Staines. What a twit."

Here we have a terrific film by Framlingham councillor Christopher Hudson. This is somebody who is a natural in front of the camera and has the relaxed charm and easy-going humour of a Des Lynam or a Simon Bates.

Credit must also be given to the excellent charity event he promotes which appears to involve attractive ladies riding around on bicycles.
