loneliness is a monster that slinks and creeps just behind us, like an icy shadow. we gather others around to try and keep it at bay. when we're alone it sits with us, violent in how it doesn't touch us, doesn't speak.

the worst is when there are other people with you, and you still see loneliness out of the corner of your eye. it slinks closer, dark and dripping, eyes wide and white and empty.

Being in a long-term fandom really makes me wish we had like, Fandom Supreme Courts, just so that every time the same stupid discourse rears its ugly head for the umpteenth time in ten years, we can just be like, “Actually this argument was settled in the 2006 Fandom Supreme Court ruling in the case of AngelPotter vs. Xx_goth1c-r0se_xX, so everbody can shut up about it now.” Imagine the wank reduction.

People who wanted Sofia and Javi to end up together don't understand the show I'm sorry. Raul was literally her endgame from day one. Sofia was never a normal girl and it was shown multiple times that she's attracted to Rauls craziness. They are a red flag couple and it's fine!

The show is a crazy and toxic love story about two deranged people. Raul is obsessed with Sofia and she is obsessed with solving the mysteries she gets from him. Yes she's literally obsessed with his mind and she's wants to be with him. It's okay! That's what the show is about! It was never a normal show and every single one of them is messy. There's no "good" main character because there was never supposed to exist a good character. It's like gossip girl where we are all supposed to root for the bad guys (70% of the time, because I really hate gossip girl for their indecisiveness) but with control z we are supposed to root for the crazy and toxic guys. I'm sorry but it's so refreshing to just drop the moral compass for once! Finally an messy fictional show that ends up being entertaining and is not supposed to give us a lesson on something.

It's their love story and their unhinged way of expressing and accepting their love. Just suitable for each other. I'm really happy about this endgame.

And I respect the writers for not shying away from the theme or putting them into professional help or jail. 😭
