It still kind of blows my mind how nice Kuroo and Bokuto are. Like, when they meet Tsukishima he’s literally The Least Likable Person on Karasuno™, and he’s doing his little asshole shtick just to isolate himself at this point, and they’re just like:

“You know what we should do? Shower this bitter, unhappy little jerk in friendliness and encouragement and in the process help him rediscover his  passion for volleyball”

hi, i'd love a matchup if you're not too swamped! i'm an intp and i'm pretty quiet with no presence, but once i'm comfortable i can be very loud and passionate and i love to stupid make jokes! i'd like to say i'm a hard worker! i'm a night owl so i’m always up at unholy hours when people need me to listen. i'm good at suppressing my feelings towards the person i like, i'm not really a risk taker. i like people who can make me laugh and whom i can tease lightheartedly. thank you in advance!!

Did you say night owl? Hehe, forgive me, but while Bokuto may be more of a morning guy, you’re definitely his kind of person. You’re quiet, default demeanor was kind of like a challenge to him. It was a lot like befriending Akaashi. It probably took more than a few hang outs, because he knows he can be a lot, but the first time you countered one of his puns with another joke he knew he was in. But that was just friends. Since he is generally pretty clueless, and you’re good at hiding your feelings, it took observant Akaashi to get him to realize that he had a shot at more with you (and that the teasing was actually good natured). Bokuto was pretty determined to be your boyfriend, and he spent all his free time day dreaming about it. But now he can spend all his free time with you! The best way to describe you guys is like a ‘silly power couple,’ and you’re definitely the most entertaining pair around. You’re both hard working and no one can pry you away from what you love (or each other) but you’ll both have the rest of Fukurodani nagging at you not overwork yourselves. But the downtime that his teammates demand form the both of you won’t really feel like downtime, because Bokuto is going to be coaxing you out of your comfort zone. You say you’re not a risk taker, but if he got you out of your shell he can definitely get you into a little trouble. Good trouble though! The making memories, laugh about on the couch years later kind of trouble.

hello! so im a new imagine blog and i was wondering how do you get followers and people to request? huhu sorry if it was a hassle to answer!!

Hi! Well congrats on making your own blog we really hope you enjoy having it! It’s always cool when people decide to make writing blogs for the fandom, so thank you from us for taking your own time to write!

I don’t know if this is a really helpful answer, but I think the best way to gain a following is just to put out content. Just write as much as you can. If you don’t have any requests then write up a list of your own headcanons or a scenario you’re inspired to write about your favorite character or something, and tag it with Haikyuu for people to find! The Haikyuu fandom is so huge now that it’s a lot easier for imagine blogs because people are constantly looking for content, so if you put something out there it’s almost a promise that someone is going to see it.

So yeah, basically just write! And don’t forget to tag. And if you want to shoot us your url we will gladly promo your blog here! But just a note that if you’re not comfortable with promos or anything you don’t need them! We never asked for them because we were naive and didn’t know they were a thing, but they are a great tool to get your blog out there.

Oh and you’re not a hassle, we’ve been super busy with school and all lately but if you guys ever need any help we’ll do our best to get back to you asap!

aaAAA valentine event yay!! Can I have a matchup please? I'm 5'1", infj, a bit shy at first but when people get to know me I can be sassy and sarcastic. I'm also always getting lost in my train of thought and in turn oblivious to my surroundings. I get emotional easily when I watch anime (and anything rly). I like listening to people and giving them advice, but sometimes I feel mentally drained since I don't tend to tell when it comes to myself. I'm told that I can be too nice for my own good.

Iwaizumi probably tells you that you’re too nice for your own good like everyday, but that’s alright because he’s also always there for you. He respects your endless kindness and admires your patience, and he won’t ever let anyone take advantage of you. Anyone who crosses you better watch their back, because while Iwaizumi’s a nice guy and he knows your probably wouldn’t condone his behavior, it won’t keep him from rearranging the organs of anyone who who hurts you. He’s the ultimate one man protection squad. He could maybe use some of your advice on how to express his feelings though, because it probably took him like seven dates to even get the willpower up to try and kiss you. He’s a little shy, but he knows what he wants, and he wants you. He knew he wanted you for a long time and once he had you, he knew he had to do everything in his power to keep you. He knew because the first time he took you out with Oikawa you told the setter to shut up before he could even get a solid teasing remark out. He knew because he loves holding your hand while you talk and walk, keeping you close to his side so that you can get through all your thoughts without having to worry about paying attention to anyone else. He listens to every word you say, hangs on the edge of every syllable. The two of your communicate so well that half the time it baffles Oikawa, who gets knocked on the back of the head more often than not whenever he tries to start a conversation. Speaking of Oikawa I hope you don’t mind spending time with him too, because while Iwaizumi loves you he also loves his best friend, no matter how extra he can be. Tooru definitely respects your relationship and your space, but he’s gotta be invited to movie night at least once in a while! He gets lonely. And he likes to tease you and Iwa-chan about how you both cry so easily.

Hey, can I get a matchup? I'm 5'2 and I have medium length black hair. I'm a Taurus and my hobbies are drawing, writing fanfic, and buying more oversized sweaters to wear. I like playing story-based games with my friend while voicing the characters horribly. I'm p shy when talking to strangers/ordering stuff, etc. but I get pretty loud if I'm comfy with you. Irl I avoid romance but I'm always up for reader insert fics tbh. Thanks for taking the time to do these!

Good news! You can start getting your oversized sweaters from Kuroo! And since he’s like a foot taller than you, they’re definitely going to be big. Whenever you go shopping together and you see one you like he just goes ‘Oh I have one like that from two birthdays ago, you can have it.’ And while you might think he’s just being a stellar boyfriend, which he is, he also really likes seeing you in his clothes. It makes him feel all warm and fuzzy inside and he just wants to scoop you up in his arms and bury his nose in your hair. He likes to use it as an excuse to be affectionate because he’s honestly a little shy and awkward when it comes to initiating romantic stuff. But while kisses totally make him blush, he’s okay with ordering the pizza or whatever you want to eat over the phone. He got over that fear a while ago since he hangs out with Kenma so often, and Kenma can’t call either. He also has a kind of acquired taste for games from his best friend, so you can probably expect him to want to play those story games with you too. He’s actually really good at making the voices! He’s the guy that’ll take you to the zoo and voice all the animals just to make you laugh. That’s probably his favorite thing to do honestly, make you laugh. He just wants you to be happy, and he wants you to be loud and all out and comfortable around him. He’s also a pretty good model to practice figure drawing, because he sits rather still while he studies and reads and whatnot. Drawing his hair is even more of a nightmare than trying to style it though so, good luck.

Omg match ups? I'm down. I'm a mom type friend, and I get lonely easily but I don't share my feelings easily. I like stupid jokes and puns. I like doing new things and having fun, but even I have days when I like to stay inside. I'm kinda blunt, too.

BOY does Nishinoya need a mom friend. He needs you, so I hope you’ll have him. Not only does he need you to keep him doing his homework and eating on a semi normal schedule, he needs someone kinda blunt. Someone who isn’t afraid to tell him like it is because honestly, stuff can get lost in translation with Noya. He needs you to be plain and honest with him so he can always understand how you feel and know where to draw the line. He wants to make these kind of adjustments for you because he wants to know the best way to love you and he wants you to be most comfortable around you, and being blunt is the easiest way for his hyperactive mind to comprehend. He loves you, so he wants to know you as best he can, and he’ll absolutely never let you be lonely again. Not on his watch. He’ll always be there for you. Whether you need to see him in person or just hear from him over the phone, he’ll always be available to tell you he loves you. Honestly, if you text him and he doesn’t answer within the next 5 minutes, he’s probably dying or something. He seriously never misses your calls, ever. He’s super lucky to have someone who’s always willing to try new stuff with him, thinks his humor is actually funny, and he always has fun with. Noya needs a fun loving partner for the relationship to work, and he’s really found that he can have fun doing anything with you. This includes the days you guys decide to stay in and just lay around in bed. He now knows the joys of doing nothing but watching movies or tv all day on the couch.
