So . . . no.
Full disclosure: I have not watched it. I had planned to, eventually, but I don't have Prime and didn't want to rush to pay just for that, because reasons.
I've read enough commentary about it now, about the entire plot and resolution, that I'm content to skip watching it and hate it from afar. I know it won't give me any of the happy feelings I watched two seasons of it for. Quite the opposite. Just hearing about it was enough to make me cry.
I'm glad for those who weren't disappointed or devastated and didn't feel that it was just character assassination, promises made in S2 not kept, and a bullshit way for them to bury your gays and try to pretend that they didn't. I'm genuinely glad some people weren't too upset and enjoyed it, but I wouldn't have been one of them.
I love the book. I love the radio performances. (Peter Serafinowicz, oh my beloveds Crowley and the Tick.) I really enjoyed the first season. And that's enough. The ending of that season will remain the official ending of the show for me and the spot that I will always wish they ended on.

Can't wait for my fucked up vampires and another season of a show where there isn't the teeniest crumb of coyness about how effervescently and bloodily queer it is. *Bless*

Happy Lizard Fashion Day to those who celebrate.
I LOVED Stan Against Evil, and seeing Jeffrey Combs pop up was such a joy!

I can’t watch a video of a Māori haka without a lump in my throat and tears in my eyes. This has sort of a similar effect on me. You feel these things in your guts and your bones.
