Echo has recovered from Skako Minor a bit by the time Order 66 happens. it's kind of subtle since he remains thinner than the regs, but there absolutely is a difference if you put it side by side like this

I do wish they didn't forget about him having leg prosthetics though >.>

I wish we saw Echo gradually recover over the seasons. I wanted Echo to gain weight and melanin. I wanted to see Tech work on his prosthetics, improving them. I wanted Wrecker to encourage him to eat and work out with him. I wanted his PTSD to improve, and his fear of solitude subside; I wanted to watch him do the work physically and mentally and show that his recovery MATTERED.

Last line challenge

Soooo @ruposa tagged me in the last line challenge, which is super cool! I’ve never done one these before, let’s give it a whirl

He had never known a conscious moment where he was without it. In his earliest memories, he could remember feeling all the emotions of his brothers as they played in the nursery. The bright fizzle of happiness when 24 smiled at him. The sharp pricks of frustration when the nurse droid took away 36’s loth-wolf toy (he had been chewing on its ears, Fox remembered vividly).

So yeah, there ya go. This one is a WIP that is still unposted. This time I made myself wait to write the entire thing until I start posting (didn’t wanna have another situation where I’m making people wait 3 months for an update), but the plus side is I could actually keep it to post for clone bang next year, which I’ve been wanted to write for for forever. I won’t go into details on the fic bc of clone bang secrecy reasons but I’ll just say that this one is gonna be spooooky 💀
