I decided to be more active on this blog after realizing I fit the term holothere due to the features and my perception of my body.

Keep in mind that I am an adult. I probably won't talk about anything that personal much, if at all, but I would prefer minors either block the tag #not for pups or not interact with the blog. Exact system may change as blog use increases. I may end up not posting anything mature at all, but I'd rather be safe than sorry.

I'll still be posting alterhuman stuff on my main blog @hexscriptor , but this is exclusively for it and my experiences with it.

Dawg I got so pissed the other day and I thought I’d share this because I don’t know how common this is.

I’ll add a cut so my complaining doesn’t form a wall of text. Hopefully it works I’ve had issues on mobile

I was watching a twitch stream. We were watching weird right-wingers (won’t get too specific to minimize possible recognition) and one of them wearing a lion mask started a discussion about therians.

There was one person who insisted, would not listen to me, that therianthropy was exclusively spiritual. I was mad but when it stopped I made myself stop bringing it up.

A day or so later I was discussing it with someone else in the streamer’s discord and I mentioned I couldn’t do spirituality because I had to ban myself from religion.

Hours later the person spreading misinformation comes over and replies to that message: “spiritual doesn’t automatically mean religious”

I wanted to argue, but I’ve been punished for arguing in this community before, so I just blocked them.

I don’t share this often, but the reason we banned ourselves from religion is because we’re prone to religious delusion. Spirituality specifically sent us into a religious psychosis that caused a host change. The incident still causes problems for us to this day. We use “religion” as an umbrella term that includes spirituality. Even then I’m not sure why someone banned from religion wouldn’t also be banned from spirituality, maybe I’m missing something idk.

I’m just very disappointed as this is usually a progressive community. Almost all of us are queer autistic communists/socialists. I’ve had issues with this community before, including leaving the old server due to disappointment in a moderation decision involving me. Idk it’s just really sad like I genuinely expected better than all of this.

Being on alterhuman tumblr is wild because one month the discourse will be about something genuinely important to address like racism and the next it will be about how beings find inconsequential "puppyposting" annoying and weather or not it should have a separate tag.

Here's a fun (and free) tip for the creatures who can't figure out what they are:

Step One: First, you need Pinterest (or a similar app, even Google can work). You type in anything you generally like or feel comforted by. This can be a color, an animal, the sky, a character, literally anything.

Step Two: You're gonna scroll around until you find something that hits you in the heart, even just a little bit. A really beautiful sky picture or maybe a drawing you cannot scroll away from for seemingly no reason. You put that picture into a new folder (mine is just titled "me").

Step Three: Look through the similar pictures below the one you saved. If you can't find smth that hits, either pick the next best one and continue from there, or search for something else. Repeat Steps One and Two until you have a nicely filled folder.

Step Four: Go through your new folder. Look at every picture and feel it out. What about it feels like you? Does the whole picture hit? Or maybe just a singular claw on a random animal? Is the time of day just perfect? Maybe a color scheme you resonate with?

Step Five: Do whatever you want with the results. Make a collage of the itty bitties of pictures you liked. Write down how you felt about each one in a short sentence. Try and draw them out (if you can) and see how it feels. Just whatever works for you.

#1 download the digital pattern

#2 print out digital pattern using 8.5 x 11 inc standard printer paper

#3 Cut out pattern along edges for desired size, making sure to leave the black line. (inner pattern is small outer pattern is medium) 

#4 use desired fabric for the fur and skin and create appropriate amount of pieces and cut them out again, making sure to leave outer border of marking

#5 glue or sew pieces together along green line making sure not to seal all edges shown above then flip inside out 

#6 once flipped pieces can be stuffed and contoured using glue or stitching (I contoured the testicles by putting a dollop of glue on the inside to fuse the fabric together only in the middle in order to create individual looking testes)

#7 insert the body of the phallus into the sheath
