here is your daily reminder to COMMENT ON THE AO3 FICS YOU READ! it goes such a long way, especially if it’s a multi-chapter work and you can only leave kudos once. ANYTHING is an acceptable comment—emojis, keyboard smash, screaming, in-depth analysis! i promise you, the writers want it ALL
Basically anything that you frequent back to with a small following it's good to comment. I try and comment anything on every video in a series I'm binging from small creators. It often get likes from them which I take as a sign they're reading all the comments they get, even old stuff they posted.
i dont even care that much about the joke here op i just wanna say this is the most skilfully rendered meme ive seen in my entire life
always doing something annoying
can I be honest? I was so pissed off by friends and family criticizing my soap choice that, for half a year, I did an experiment where I washed one hand with Palmolive and one with handsoap, to prove that it didn't make your skin any rougher. and do you know what the result is? it does make your skin rougher. and now I'm even more pissed off.
I love this. This is the beauty of the honest scientific process. You had an idea, you tested it and you still reported the results even though the results disproved your idea.
It's ok to be mad at it, you're an honest scientist.

i have to keep reminding myself i was devastated when caldwell left too but i still have gotten so much joy from drawfee since his departure. and just like i started listening to naddpod to keep up with him i'll keep an eye on whatever karina does next. it will be okay.
Yes I've also been enjoying the tomodachi life vods from their onstathon. With Julia back from the baby leave, we will have the three host scenario again. It's both a shock and I'm not surprised. She's mentioned burn out a few times while Julia was away. It makes sense the time is now.
Paws crossed chapter 1: Awkward Encounter

”potentially mature content” what the hell, sure
These are the most titillating images of the ocean's waves I've encountered today.
This is literally a baby. How is this sensitive content?
I'd rather see the infinite wall of reblog lines from a popularly commented post than the broken up mess we're about to see (said from mobile)
this post aged like a fine wine
I usually just let smarter people talk about Tumblr's site meta and current events, but speaking as someone who does post my stupid little scribbles here, I don't think the Tumblr update is bad because it's "taking notes away from artists": it's bad because it makes the website more insular. I don't give a shit about my notes count, but I do care about the community aspect. I like seeing what people say in reblogs and tags. Say what you want about the modern Internet favoring aggregate accounts and content mills, I just want to engage with other people. And the update makes it harder to see what people have to say further in the chain when they're doing the normal Tumblr thing of reblogging another person's addition to add their own commentary. Tumblr is good because if I make an original post, I get to see all of the tags and additions. I get to continuously engage in the conversation as people add new things. If someone has a question about something three reblog comments down, I can answer it. Not anymore, apparently.
The collaborative nature of Tumblr is what makes it stand out among other websites. Puts the "social" in "social media", hear?
This is a good description.
You can also change the rating on Google play store once the update effects the app, which will significantly drop tumblr's rating. I recommend the feedback form online too. Don't stop complaining! Don't stop even though we all hate change, and we always make noise about it - there's always been two types of change on this site: the types that we are insane about that everyone is right for mocking tumblr for complaining (the blue changing is one of those for sure) , and then the second type - the ones that fundamentally change how the site functions, and how users interact with it. These changes are universally met with mass negative feedback, and the ones that are pushed through drive away users in absurd numbers. These types of changes gut the site, they drop its net worth because we, the users, the traffic, are what define its worth. If we aren't here, then it's worth nothing. Make your complaints! You are not voiceless, even if one tiny voice doesn't hold a lot of power - there are a LOT of us, and we are not happy.
lrt I think abt this a lot, esp about societys weirdness around naked kids (and nakedness in general). Whenever I'm drawing a baby I'm like, am I going to get shit for just having them in a nappy or whatever, should I draw nipples? In dragonball they literally draw baby goku's junk every time they can, and it's funny, it's cute. Same with the old soap ads having mostly naked babies. I feel like it's so grim that the internet especially has become so warped. Honestly I feel like in general people are normal about this*, and it's mostly just the internet. Baby ads still have kids just in nappies, parents are still like 'look at that cute baby butt don't u just wanna pinch it', nobody blinks at kids running around naked in the garden but yeah I feel like on the internet you absolutely run the risk of being called a predator. Can we fix our collective brains please.
like yeah they're not baring all but I feel like even these nowadays would get ppl up in arms
*yea caveat that ppl are ofc much more protective of their real kids than ppl used to be, but that's not really what I'm talking about.
