Looking at lovely things—and people—can improve quality of life
There are great benefits to being surrounded by beauty, they are undisputed. There is a beauty-happiness connection. In fact it’s finding beauty in normal activities that can bring deep happiness to life, studies show. Arranging your home so that each view displays a beautiful arrangement of harmonious color, shape and function. Comfort and elegance go hand in hand. Think of the things you touch and your daily views and activities.
A simple lunch elegantly presented, enjoyed in a favorite spot, with your prettiest dishes, with a few flowers or sprigs from outside in a vase, can possess and deliver great beauty. Simply by transforming the mundane into something made special can create moments of beauty. And create them we must, they can be orchestrated, until the inclination becomes second nature
