“Wow, Volley! That’s great!!”  Steven grinned, beaming at the small tulip.  “You know, I was big into floriculture awhile back. Maybe I should let you have my greenhouse at the Temple!”

Steven had made the Crystal Gems promise to take care of his plants while he was travelling. He was excited to return to Daisy Clover and the Shrubspects and all of his other wonderful plants that survived Cactus Steven.

“Why don’t we take a trip to the Temple, I’ll show you around!”

Volley was overjoyed to hear that Steven liked her tulip! She had worked very hard to make sure it grew properly. Peridot did a great job running the gardening classes, she was a very good teacher!

“Are you sure your friends wouldn’t mind?” Volleyball asked, placing her tulip on the ground beside the greenhouse, it was high time her plant got some fresh air.

“I would love to see your greenhouse, Steven! By all means, lead the way!”

“...together?” She’s taken back for a moment, confused as to what her Diamond had just said to her.

“My Diamond...I...” Pink can feel a strong heat grace her cheeks. “I know very little about running colonies! That is your area of expertise!” The pearl lets a smile crawl upon her lips.

“...though, I must say, I do like the large spiral like towers your Bismuths concoct.”
