Imagine a PJO AU where Percy Jackson is absolutely not a normal six-year-old. He is a reincarnated soul blessed (or cursed) with a god-like gaming System that literally controls the fates, paired with the memories of every overpowered anime and movie from his past life.
He looks at the original timeline and says: Absolutely not.
When Gabe Ugliano tries to lay a hand on him, six-year-old Percy doesn't cry. He uses anime-logic blood manipulation to explode Gabe’s cardiovascular system from the inside out. He leaves instantly. He knows Sally tried her best, but her best brought abuse into his world, and this reincarnated soul refuses to pay the price for mortal desperation.
He vanishes into the shadows of New York and commands his interface: [Initiate Divine Separation Protocol: Burn away mortal blood.] He is turning himself into a baby God.
Here is the catch that throws Olympus into absolute, unhinged meltdown:
The Big Three never have demigod children who successfully ascend to godhood. Dionysus was a special, twice-born mortal exception, but a child of the Big Three turning into a true deity? It’s completely unprecedented, mythologically dangerous, and causes a massive shift in the cosmic balance.
On Mount Olympus, the family dynamics explode:
Omega Poseidon completely loses his mind. His primal, maternal/paternal instincts flare into a manic panic. He can’t feel his pup’s mortal thread in the oceans anymore because Percy is actively purging his mortal DNA. Poseidon is ready to sink continents out of pure terror that his baby was murdered or stolen.
Alpha King Zeus is usually seen as harsh, but it’s because he is fiercely, obsessively protective of the divine family. He takes the loss of his nephew as a personal insult and a heartbreaking tragedy. He places the entire mortal world under martial law. Lightning crackles constantly as he orders a full-scale Olympic manhunt. No one touches an Olympian child.
Hades is lurking in the shadows, just as furious, searching the Underworld for Gabe's soul to personally torture him for information, assuming the mortal did something to the missing baby.
Meanwhile, Percy is chilling in an abandoned warehouse, his skin glowing with pure, unadulterated golden ichor. His mortal blood is 100% gone. He's a baby God.
But he doesn’t want to be a lonely deity. He looks at his System and unlocks the [Pantheon Party] function. He realizes he can share this energy-burning protocol with the other forbidden kids.
He decides he's going to find Thalia (currently stuck as a pine tree) and the di Angelo siblings (trapped in the Lotus Casino), bypass Camp Half-Blood entirely, and burn their mortal blood away too. He's building a rogue, independent pantheon of baby Gods, completely breaking the Great Prophecy.
Percy also uses the system and the Fates to keep a look out for all the evil beings and finds out that this world has a lot more dangers in it then he first assumed.
Imagine the absolute, chaotic, emotional whiplash when the fiercely protective Alpha/Omega Big Three finally track down their "missing, vulnerable babies"... only to find a squad of tiny, overpowered, independent baby Gods running around using anime logic to rewrite divine law.
The baby Gods also allow themselves to be taken care of because none, but Nico got to be a child.
