I just finished rereading the 5 heartstopper comics and I forgot just how much these books/tv show means to me

People say it’s cringey and it is! But it’s also the first book series I read about people like me. It has the perfect amount of representation and its happy and sweet while tackling deep, serious topics and shows that there’s always a way out

So what if it’s sometimes cringey? Straight people have so many cringey tv shows and books and no one bats an eye, but we deserve that too!

I’m so glad that 13 year old me got the chance to experience a series such as heartstopper. It will forever be my comfort book series!
