They were nice shoes. Normally, it’d be reasonable for someone to get upset over someone ruining their good shoes. Mad over it, even. But him?
With a frown on his face, he looked down at his shoes– and proceeded to gaze back up at the God before him, squinting from behind his shades. Did he look annoyed? Yes, he did. … But quickly, a grin grew across his features.
“Don’t worry about it! Shoes are shoes, yeah?! They’re nice, but they aren’t exactly GOLDEN, you know?! So don’t worry about it at all! … Though.”
“Your clothes are kinda plain. What’s with that? You gotta wear gold, y’know?!”
From just a few words, the god could only assume the other’s favorite color was most likely gold.
When he grinned, they responded with a smile back and laughed lightly. He was amusing, and friendly enough-- oh wait. Alright, maybe not as friendly seeing as how he sort of lowkey insulted their clothing. What was wrong about wearing white and gray robes? It was a symbol of purity! Of their divinity.
† I see.. Well, gold is usually a symbol of higher status and greed... As a a God, I can’t let my people think of me as anything but pure and trustworthy. However, are my robes really that... plain looking? †
