Ride merch and things. Band tshirts only came in one size and didn’t cater for skinny girls. The ULU tshirt only seemed to come in XXX Large but we got a limited edition single with it for £5 so that was a bargain! My personal favourite was the red.
Me and friends at the fanclub only ULU gig 19th Dec 1991
Pirate cassettes that I picked up along the way – Ride at The Roxy in LA 10th April 1991 and at Club Quattro Japan – date unknown.

ay: 894 Shirt: Rollercoaster Tour ‘92 - The Jesus And Mary Chain, My Bloody Valentine, Blur, and Dinosaur Jr. L/S Color: Navy Brand: Screen Stars Best Source: I can’t fathom anyone leaving this show with their hearing intact. aside form Blur these are 3 of the loudest bands i have ever seen in my life. the thought of watching them play one after another leaves me with a feeling of what it would be like to have my brain scrambled. i can almost imagine peoples ears bleeding at this show.
the gnarly part of this tour..the british version of Lollapalooza is the records these bands were promoting at the time. Jesus And Mary Chain with Honey’s Dead, My Bloody Valentine with Loveless, Dinosaur Jr. with Green Mind, and Blur With Modern Life Is Rubbish. talk about a musical time capsule. 1992 really was one of the greatest years in music ever. Wikipedia cites that at the end of MBV’s set “ended with a noise section of their song ”You Made Me Realise“ referred to as "the holocaust”, reportedly caused attendees’ pint glasses to fall out of their hands due to excessive sound pressure levels.“ sounds like some amerteur beer drinkers to me.
Also if you bought that months issue of Melody Maker you also got a free Live CD with exclusive tracks form each band. now go hunt that down! (and let me know if you find it i'd like to hear it)
Damn. God Damn…
